Great game on NBATV tonight and I can't watch it. I have League Pass, but my cable company (Comcast) does not carry NBATV network. I don't understand why Comcast is neglecting its paying customers this way. Why didn't they package NBATV with League Pass so you don't miss any games? I would have paid an extra five or ten bucks for it.

The two best records in the league, does Indiana have a chance? Or have they built their record on wins over inferior competition?

If you live in Southern California you will get Fox Sports Net, and therefore you can catch the game when it starts at 6:30 PST. Otherwise no, Comcast sucks (I have it unfortunately) and you'll miss the game today.

They've built their record over inferior teams, though the Pacers are a very very good team. Problem is, they can't beat the best of the best in the West, and the Lakers will win today's matchup to prove it, 102-88.

More interesting stats on this game at Staples Arena:

Lakers have a 9-0 home record
Lakers have won five in a row
Pacers have won eight in a row
Pacers are 4-0 against the Western Conference
Lakers are 7-2 against the Eastern Conference
Lakers are favored by 7.5 points

edit: This is also the first game of a five game west coast road trip for the Pacers. This is also the fifth game of a five game homestand for the Lakers.

Actually the Pacers have a better record against winning teams. After tonights loss the Pacers are 5-1 against teams over .500. The Lakers are 6-3 or 7-3, I'm not sure at this point.

When the Lakers are focused they are unbeatable BUT I don't like how they play late in games or on the tail end of a back to back game. The trip to Tex@ss next week will be very telling. They're taking on the Spurs and Dallas. I think the Lakers are over confident against those two teams and will go 0-2 on that trip because of over confidence and playing a fast tempo team like the Mavs on the tail end of the Texas back to back.

Agreed, it will be the biggest test for the Lakers so far this year.
