I hope this is the beginning of an implosion.

i was hoping the same thing, simon, but then i went and looked at their upcoming games, and they have a pretty easy schedule until the new year unfortunately. however, if they start losing easy games, that could jumpstart an implosion really well. i just don't think they are going to drop any of those games.

I guess this is the kind of effect that Losing to the Mavs could do.

My 2 favorite teams in the NBA are #1 the Mavs and #2 whoever is playing the Flakers. Warms my heart to see a Flaker loss. i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Sike you are quickly becoming one of my favorite posters. Your wit cracks me up! The Lakers' two losses this weekend are making for an enjoyable Monday morning.

And they lose another - this time to the Warriors 107-98.

Even this is not enough to cheer me up

Dampier went 7-8 and collected 11 boards - 5 of them off the offensive glass. Shaq was held to just 5 rebounds and 21 pts.

I guess that's possible when you actually have a Center playing on your team.

Im in San Francisco for the holidays and I got to see the Warriors decked out in their spiffy yellow throwbacks with the trolleys on them beat the Lakers and their ugly blue uniforms. It was an incredible night of basketball as Golden State is my #2 team and like LRB, I like any team that is playing against the Lakers-

Richardson's 40" leap to block Kobe's jumper- his wraparound dunk after the pick...it was some solid ball

AND ANOTHER LOSS FOR THE LAKERS- they look tired and they looked like they missed Malone (boo hoo)
