TRADE ACCEPTED

Memphis is really taking on water lately...loosers of 7 straight since JWill has come back. Watson really wants out of there and I think he could be a good fit here as our backup PG. Tsakalidis is big but isn't getting any play there. Swift may be the odd man out and Bo is just a great role player who would fit in very nicely here.

If that one seems unfeasible then how about this one.

Dallas trades: SF Antawn Jamison (15.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.1 apg in 29.6 minutes)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 13.7 minutes)
PG Travis Best (3.3 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 13.6 minutes)
Dallas receives: C Lorenzen Wright (9.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.2 apg in 24.6 minutes)
SF Bo Outlaw (3.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.6 apg in 17.9 minutes)
PG Earl Watson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -1.8 ppg, +2.7 rpg, and +3.7 apg.

Memphis trades: C Lorenzen Wright (9.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.2 apg in 24.6 minutes)
SF Bo Outlaw (3.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.6 apg in 17.9 minutes)
PG Earl Watson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
Memphis receives: SF Antawn Jamison (15.6 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.1 apg in 30 games)
SF Eduardo Najera (3.3 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 0.4 apg in 28 games)
PG Travis Best (3.3 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 26 games)
Change in team outlook: +1.8 ppg, -2.7 rpg, and -3.7 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

It would depend which one they wanted to keep....Jake or Lorenzen. Either trade works for me.

And here is one for all the Walker bashers.

Dallas trades: PG Travis Best (3.3 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 13.6 minutes)
PF Antoine Walker (17.4 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 5.1 apg in 37.9 minutes)
Dallas receives: PG Earl Watson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
SF Bo Outlaw (3.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.6 apg in 17.9 minutes)
C Lorenzen Wright (9.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.2 apg in 24.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -0.3 ppg, +2.7 rpg, and +0.1 apg.

Memphis trades: PG Earl Watson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)
SF Bo Outlaw (3.8 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 0.6 apg in 17.9 minutes)
C Lorenzen Wright (9.9 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.2 apg in 24.6 minutes)
Memphis receives: PG Travis Best (3.3 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.0 apg in 26 games)
PF Antoine Walker (17.4 ppg, 9.8 rpg, 5.1 apg in 30 games)
Change in team outlook: +0.3 ppg, -2.7 rpg, and -0.1 apg.

Don't like either trades. I think the Mavs can get more for Walker or Jamison. Jake T or Swift won't be bigger improvements over Jamison.

the mavs dont need anymore kinda big men(swift\wright) and Jake is not the answer.....If they are to trade either Jamison or Walker, they must receive some substantial big man talent in return....and unless you want sheed(and many dont) you just accept the idea that you wont get equal value for either Walker or Jamison....thus making a smaller package deal consisting of spare parts more likely!

PG Earl Watson (6.7 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 5.4 apg in 23.8 minutes)

I do like this kid though....a solid defensive point..needs to extend his range....

I agree that they would need some substantial big man talent back...but exactly who is that? There are really only 3 quality big men in the league and we aint getting any of them. Wright is 6-11 at least and plays around the basket. Swift would replace Jamison's minutes at the 4. Outlaw would seriously help our D as would Watson. I am actually not that big on making ANY trade...just throwing possibilities out from teams that are on the way down the drain. I have tried to do an Atlanta trade for Ratliff but I really don't see any way they do it unless there is a 3rd or 4th team. The only player they may take is Walker because of his contract but then we would have to take back something else and it couldn't be Terry...so that deal is complicated. Washington, Chicago, NY, and Cleveland are possibilities but the talent is slim pickens.

These players are interesting, indeed...

We're covering just about everyone over 6'10" in this forum... it's a little scary but, if a move is made, one of us is going to guess it!!
