TRADE ACCEPTED

Heres why i think this works

Dallas:We trade Jamison and get 2 bigs that can do some work for us. This deal also frees up a lot of room for us for next summer with TAWs contract gone and Wards off the books and Milos is supposed to develop into quite the nice PG from what ive heard. Ward for Best is a toss up. Neither will see playing time in Dallas

Indy: They get Jamison. A guy that will do what Carlisle asks. Go out there and run set plays. Him and J Oneal will make quite the front court. Best for Tinsley is basically a toss up seeing that Tinsley is 3rd on their depth chart. Plus Bests contract is up after this year. They also get a project in Lampe

NY: This rids them of Thomas and Ward and Lampe(Isiah doesnt like his work ethic evidentally) and they get 2 guys Isiah loves in return...Tinsley and Harrington. I know TAWs contract is horrible but u gotta give to get and they are getting a steal here is u ask me.

feel free to rip me...just got bored and saw the Artest thread and it gave me ideas

Heres what we look like after the fact

Bradley/Thomas/Pollard/Fortson
Dirk/Thomas/Walker/Fortson
Walker/Howard
Finley/Howard
Nash/Delk or Ward

This effectively ends small ball which we all know i hate

This isn't a rip but repeat after me Kurt Thomas is not a center. Defensively and rebounding wise he can give you about what Walker gives you(Ok on D pretty good rebounder but not as good as walker is) I dont see why we need another short center. Also Thomas is the only guy in the Nba who fouls more than Raef did. That is before he comes to Dallas so if he came here they would probably go up because Raef wasn't that foul prone in Denver. I think Pollard could help the Euro guard I thought had decided he wasnt coming over? Cap room doesn't really help us unless Cuban just doesn't want to pay it because even with those expiring contracts we would still be wayyy over the cap. Then factor in resigning Nash and to a much smaller degree hopefully Daniels and the mavs won't be under the cap for an eternity. So as long as Cuban is willing to pay we should stick with the more talented player(Jamison in this case) I like to see that people are still thinking up trades. Thanks for the idea.

ok im not calling thomas a solution at center by no means...im just saying id rather have him and pollard down low than jamison. And im not really saying play thomas a lot at center and with the minutes hed play his fouls wouldnt matter much

Bradley 15/ Pollard 20/ Thomas 8/ Fortson 5(maybe)
Dirk 35/ Thomas 8/ Walker 5
Walker 30/ Howard 18
Fin 35/ Howard 13
Nash 30-35/ Ward n Delk 13-18

Any trade with Kurt Thomas is a no-brainer for me. I say no to it. Just don't like him as a player. He jerked Nellie's chain once and I doubt Nellie will give him a chance to do it again. If he's not happy in NY, good for him.
