View Full Version : Will there be a 60+ win team this year?

Only two teams are currently on pace to win 60 or more games, the Pacers and the Kings. The Kings I know have a brutal remaining schedule. So do you think that any team this year will win 60 or more?

For me I say No.

Has there ever been a season where there wasnt a 60 win team? (Other than the strike-shortened)

Going back 35 years or so...

There were many years with only one 60-win team.

Indy would be my bet if I had to bet on someone making it. Since they're in the East they have the best shot, but they'll have to avoid slumping in the last half of the season as they did last year.

I think the King's will have a good shot at it because of the way Peja's been playing...(I hope he cools down by playoff time)

how will peja's game be affected by Webber's return???? That, and the fact that they are in the West will keep them from reaching 60 .....

Better yet how will the Kings be affected by having the majority of thir games on the road? And how will they be affected by playing the top teams in the Western Conference which they have largely avoided. I'd be highly surprised if if they were able to keep any where near the winning percentage they have had with they very easy schedule so far.

Well they lost by 14 to a very good Memphis team. I don't thinktheir will be a 60 win team in the NBA. The West is to good top to bottom, and Indy still has to deal with a very good Nets team. Last year the Celtics beat the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. I like Indy but in the middle they are a little soft Jeff Foster.

Indy has a reall good shot at it; Sacto does, too but their schedule isn the second hal of the season tells me that it will be REALLY difficult.

In the West (overall), I think that there will be a number of teams, especially in the MidWest bunched between 54 and 57 wins.
