The ESPN announcers for the Lakers/Kings game sarcasticly said that would make everything ok now for the Nuggets.

LOL! Why don't you add that thoughtful nugget of info to the circular X-Files container.

The officials are only being punished for being caught, not for what they did. It's OK to blow calls as long as it's not as blatant as these bozos were.

Agreed. Refs are human and they can't get every single call right. But there's gotta be something wrong with a ref when 2 of his colleagues are overulling his call.

Refs will alway make "honest" mistakes. What I fear are all the "dishonest" mistakes. Refs getting personally involved and making a call based upon emotion and not what they saw or did not see. This is far too prevalent.

Think of the ramifications if the Nugz miss out on one of the playoff spots because of one game.
Your talking millions of dollars. What is wrong with instant reply in the final min.s of a game.

Agreed, they already have special rules in place for the last 2 minutes of every quarter, reply should be added to that special set of rules.

Of course there should be a penalty for incorrectly challenging a call, lose a time out or a tech FT.
