Wow, 62 points - that's freaky.

I'm just happy there won't be any Mavericks standing in the background of this highlight reel.

I couldn't find a list including less than 64. Using this list, Tracy gets the 8th all time best.

1.- Wilt Chamberlain
2.- David Thompson
3.- Elgin Baylor
4.- David Robinson
5.- Micahel Jordan
6.- Pete Maravich
7.- Ricky Barry
8.- Tracy McGrady?

Something for T-Mac to be proud of forever.

It would have been sad if his team still lost. Orlando is like that.

The rest of his team shot under 35%

Now when is Dirk going to put up a double-double of 62-10-5??

Erica, he'll never get enough shots to put up 62 points. Just like last game when he was nearly perfect, he still couldn't get Walker to pass him the ball.

@@#$@#$@. Dont get me thinking about Walker. Maybe its time to get Steff off the IR and get him some playing time if we have any games like Phoenix again. Who would hit the IR?

Walker.

If Orlando needs 62 points from T-Mac to win a close game against the Wizards of all teams, then no one can blame him for the bad record of his team. How can a team be sooooooooo bad? Where is Juwan Howard now he hasn't to justify his monster contract anymore? If I were an Orlando fan I would support the Heat.

Juwan Howard isnt paid that much.

Not anymore. But when he had that 100 m contract he couldn't live up to the expectations. So I thought he might perform better now that he is paid less. i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

He'll never get 62 points in a Mavs uniform, because if he scores 40 points or more, chances are it's a blowout and Nelson will sit him. We aren't Orlando where Mcgrady HAD to get 62 points for the Magic to win, and even then it wasn't really a blowout.

How many of my fellow gray hairs actually remember David Thompson?

I loved that guy.

Hopefully Kobe spends the rest of the year trying to "one up" McGrady. Come on Kobe, don't forget the Lakers are YOUR team. You can't let T-MAC punk you like that.i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

Amazing player, Chamberlain.

I found two more that are not in the list. Shaquille with 61 points, and Robinson again with 63. Then Tracy still seems to be the 8th best player scoring in a game.

NBA tv was talking about how Dirk still has not ever had a triple double:rolleyes:

Who cares, seems like Dirk is doing fine winning and not worrying about stats

Why are you bumping ancient threads? It's not like you are adding new insight to them. This one was even worse than the last.
