Jazz leading 73-67 7minutes left in 4th. With a Jazz win 5th seed does not look too far for mavs and a date with Spurs.

I might rather play Sacramento though, doesnt matter either way though...

84-74 with 3:03 left Jazz. It would be fun to knock out the world champs out of the first round. Mavs match up pretty well against both Kings and Spurs. Except for that one game without TD mavs pretty much dominated the spurs this season.

Grizzlies lose and that opens up 5 th spot for us since Memphis has a game at LA and at Dallas.

I was starting to doubt that Memphis would ever lose again. Let's all say thank you to them and hope the Mavs continue to take care of business.

Gasol didn't play, did he?

Gasol (foot) and Bonzi Wells (back) sat out with injuries.

Williams was ejected right before the half and Posey was ejected late in the 4th.

Bad part about that is you could face the Spurs in the 1st round. Good luck. i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

I'd hope for 6th, which will likely draw you the Kings. I bet this year's Mavs team could take them to at least 6 and probably 7, and win.

SA is only one game behind the Wolves in the loss column and they have the easiest schedule of the top four teams:

Seattle
Portland
@LAC
@Portland
Denver

They could easily run the table. I think they'll win the division. Minn has to play at Sac and Memphis.

Exactly. San Antonio could go 4-1 from this point and still catch the Wolves unless the Wolves win one of those two rather difficult road games.

A first round date with the Wolves is looming...
