SA looks like crap. I really didn't think they had it in them to be this bad.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.....

FIRST ROUND UPSET.......Denver over Phoenix in 6.

Why.... they have enough firepower to keep up with Phoenix. They play hard on both ends of the floor. And most importantly, Denver's front court combo of Martin, Nene, Camby, Najera will be enough to shut down Amare, who is the Suns front court. Without Amre playing up to his standards, the Suns will be forced to play a perimeter game and either "live by the three or die by the three."

"They will die by the three!"

EDIT: Anyone here think Denver can pull the upset.

Finally.....someone on this site gives a little credit to Denver. They have a damn good team and they are starting to gel under Karl (which surprises me).

Go Nugs!!!! (until you play the Mavs)

Drbio,

Dont be surprised about them "gellin" under Karl. I knew this was going to happen. Look at his previous track record. This alway happens every where he goes. In Seattle, the Sonics immediately gelled and prospered to the point that they eventually reached the 1996 NBA Finals under him. When he joined the Bucks, the prospered immediately to championship contenders too.

BUT....in the previous two stints, he eventually lost his players, which naturally costed him his job and brought about questions as to how good of a coach he really is?

Question now is....has he learned from his mistakes or will he eventually lose the young and up-in-coming Nugs too?

EDIT: Anyone here think Denver can pull the upset.I think Dever's going to beat out Memphis for the 7th seed and they'll have to upset the Spurs.

...actually they're only two games behind Sac, so they could end up a 6th seed.

Spurs have tightened it up.

...actually they're only two games behind Sac, so they could end up a 6th seed.

And the Rockets are only a 1/2 game up on Sac.

Could Denver make it to the 5th seed?

(Somewhere, Drbio is shuddering at this prophecy....Mavs vs Nugs)
