After tonights games all of the playoff contenders in the WC are under 10 games to go.

The top 4 spots appear to be locked up pretty tight.
1)Phoenix(57-17)-They will lock up homecourt by the last 3 games and rest their high minute players. 8 to go and a predicted finish of 5-3 for 62-20.

2)San Antonio(54-19)- as long as they have the division and the 2nd spot sewn up I don't see them pushing real hard to do anything but get and stay healthy. 5-4 for 59-23.

3)Seattle(50-24)-they should have the divsion in a week and then need to concentrate on getting Rashard Lewis healthy or they are first round fodder for the 6th seed. 4-4 for 54-28.

4)Dallas(50-24)-they just need to get better used to each other and for petes sakes stay healthy. 6-2 for 56-26 and HC if they face Seattle in the WC finals.

5)Sacramento(46-30)- just 6 games left and a really weak finishing schedule. They won a big game beating Seattle to take a 1 1/2 game lead over Houston. 5-1 for 51-31.

6)Denver(42-31)- they are on fire and if the Kings trip up more than a game could get the 5th seed. Their schedule is pretty hard and all the games are big. 7-2 for 49-33.

7)Houston(44-31)-they are on a pretty bad slide playing .500 ball with 7 left and Denver on their tails...then again maybe they want the Spurs...hmmm. 4-3 for 48-34.

8)Minnesota(39-35)-they have no room for error. They have a big game at home vs Denver that if they win should allow them to make the 8th seed. Memphis has a pretty bad schedule to end with so I figure Minny to catch them. 6-2 for 45-37.

9)Memphis(41-32)- I may be counting them too short but they have a hard finish with Mia,SA twice(h&a), Dal twice(h & a), at Hou, and at Den. The only reasonably sure wins are Cha and at Tor. If they were hot then maybe I give them the benefit of the doubt but they are playing .500 ball. I see them on the outside looking in by a tie braker. 4-5 for 45-37

The matchups then are:

8)Minnesota
1)Phoenix

5)Sacramento
4)Dallas

7)Houston
2)San Antonio

6)Denver
3)Seattle

I'm pretty sure EL meant with TD. He's supposed to be back soon and Houston does a very good job against the Spurs.

Yeah they do...in Houston.
They haven't won in SA in like 6 years and to win a game 7 they would have to.

I thought Memphis got the tiebreaker if they tied the Wolves? (at least that's what abc said last week, could have changed by now)

Memphis won the season series 3-1.

Minnesota has 8 games remaining and they have it pretty easy. It wouldnt be bizarre to see them finish the season 6-2

Memphis has 9 games remaining but has one hell of a strong schedule. Dallasx2, San Antoniox2, Miami, Houston, and an @Denver

If Memphis went 4-5 the last 9 they would keep the tie with minnesota, and with the tiebreaker they would be in the playoffs.

Charlotte and Toronto are the two easy, must wins, and Memphis has to win two of the following if Minn goes 6-2. If Minnesota goes 5-3 then one, and if Minn lays an egg and goes 4-4, then Memphis only needs to beat Toronto and Charlotte

@San Antonio, @Dallas, Dallas, Miami, San Antonio, @Houston, @Denver.......
