whos the team you root for to win it all?

mine would be miami solely because of dwades brilliant play but it seems like they could be beat by detroit because a) shaqs health is unclear and b) detroit seems to be coming together a little

I'd love to see Phoenix vs Miami in the final (whoever plays better should win)

a lot of side stories: Shaq wins without Kobe, Mourning wins his first title at end of career, or Phoenix becomes first team to win with offense, etc.

I like to see the individual brilliance of Wade and Nash in the same game rather than watch a defensive battle between Spurs and Pistons

Detroit. B. Wallace is my favorite player, and i rooted for them last year.

Spurs.

I can't help it. I'm a Texan til I die.

Now that my Pacers and Mavs have both been unhappily dispatched, I will be rooting for the true MVP, the Shaq Daddy, to go (in Moses Malone's timeless words) Fo, Fo, Fo, Fo...

Although I am going Texas as I alluded to above, it would not hurt my feeling sone bit to see Shaq win to rub it in showbe the drama puss' face.

I'd root for the Heat, but I will get a sick feeling if a mercenary/coattail rider like Mourning wins a title.

I'm rooting for the Spurs.

Spurs (with the exception of Bowen) have class. I hope that beat the hell out of Phoenix and then roll all over the East.

I can't help but like Tim Duncan when he's not playing the Mavs. His hook shot is the move that wins titles more than any other. Spurs for me.

spurs kick nash and the suns rear ends. I hope.

Spurs, definitely. Hopefully Duncan stays moderately healthy. Whoever comes out of the West though will win it.

I...dunno about that. I think Shaq and Wade are for real and that they're going to lay some serious hurt down during the Finals. I'm going to root for the ... Heat. The Suns can go take a long walk off a short pier, and I do Not want to see a final score of 75-74 ever again.

Spurs. I was all for Detroit last season after I saw them play a great game against the Mavs (post Rasheed Wallace trade). I knew they'd win it. But, I don't really like any of the players on the team so I'm not rooting for them this year. I guess I could only root for them as underdogs.

The Spurs are my third fav team.

I'm entertained by watching the Suns' offensive game (except against Dallas), so I wouldn't mind seeing them.

I respect Detroits defense, but they make great villains in these playoffs.

And, finally, I just love Shaq, so seeing the Heat in the finals ain't so bad either.

So, after the Mavs, out of these four teams, I'll just be a basketball fan and just enjoy the games.

I don't really have a favorite team after the mavs. I think that it will be the Spurs and the Pistons. The Spurs in 7.

My regionalism forces me to root for the other Texas teams when they're not playing the Mavs.

For me it's definitely the Spurs.. I mean, how can you NOT be a fan of Tim Duncan or Manu Ginobili?
