Yeah I'm scoreboard watching...
Philly closes out the 2nd quarter on a mini-spurt. They capitalized on a couple of NVE turnovers and pulled ahead right before halftime.
Early going in the 3rd. Sixers up 47-44.

Nazr playing like a man posessed.
In 16 minutes: 6-6 fg 14 pts 8 reb

Another tight game. Spurs go up by 6 points and then Philly comes right back. Spurs up 2 at the moment.

How many steps is Manu allowed?

Time to pull ahead mavericks.
who was guarding him? Finley? just kidding.

So, this is where you go to celebrate a Spurs loss!!
02-15-2006, 11:01 PM
Can't believe that Philly hung on to win that one (and that CWebb made two of two free throws with 7 seconds left to put the Sixers back up 3). Big chance for the Mavs tonight (currently up 4 in the 3rd quarter).

AI for MVP....;)
That sound you heard was a "spurt". :p
02-16-2006, 12:56 AM
OMG!!!! Did you see the utterly abusive Andre Igoudala facial dunk on Tim Duncan?
02-16-2006, 01:09 AM
Fin wasn't the only guy to miss ft's down the stretch. Hit a jumper and had a couple steals late in the game.
His mistake was looking back for a second to see where the ball was and that allowed Igoudala to get in front of Finley for the tip-in. 8rbs but missed the most important one of all.

Iggy is clutch. He had the game-winning put-back against Minny a few weeks ago too.

Mohammed has been a beast on the offensive glass lately. I get pissed every time I remember that Isiah gave the Spurs a 2nd center for MALIK ROSE!
Well, at least he solved his center problem by spending over $12MM on Jerome James, Eddie Curry and Eddie Curry's heart condition.
Igudola spent quite a bit of time on Parker and although he wasn't as effective as James he was good enough to make coaches continue to copy the strategy. He still got 20 but some of it was in transition and he wasn't the 4th quarter killer that he has been.

Calling Mohammed a "beast" might piss off the muslims. Be careful.

Pop might just have to give Nazr his starting job back. He's been unreal lately.
02-16-2006, 03:17 AM
Too bad, so sad.
02-16-2006, 03:23 AM
Fin wasn't the only guy to miss ft's down the stretch.
Maybe that's some kind of disease, or curse that all San Antonio Spurs are comdemned do endure.
Seriously though, what the hell is it with this team and their free throws?
