Since I defend Bruce quite a bit I found something that might make you feel vindicated...

Dirty as in appearance? Or dirty as in dropkicking a guy as he goes up for a 3 pointer? I don't know who voted but that list is absurd. Bruce Bowen should have well over 70% of the votes.

This was voted on by the players.

asking if Bruce Bowen is a dirty player is equivalent to asking if Taco Bell serves dogfood.

both unfortunate. but both very true ;)

there is a difference in being a great defensive player and being dirty which Bruce defiantely is. When you stick your feet under players when they shoot a jump shot so they land on your feet, when you trip players to anger them. I wish VC would have punched him that one time. That was a dirty play.

The players have spoken. They are certainly right on fortson, he's pretty dirty. But obviously so is bruce.

The game would be much better off if that list gets published every month.

I didn't know that Matt Harpring had a reputation as a dirty player. Fortson makes sense though, as dirty as Bowen is. Anyone remember that game against Phoenix when he was a Mav? Zarko Caparkapa went up for a dunk, and Fortson just shoved him to the ground, causing him to break his wrist and miss 6 weeks of the season. Didn't go for the ball or anything, just shoved him with both hands.

I would like to ask Finley about Bowen, now that he's playing on the same team with him.

He'd probably say: "He's a, eh... fine defensive player?"

There was a few discussions about that on this board Spiral. Zarko was trying to be cute when Pheonix clearly had the game in the bag. As dirty as it was, i didn't feel bad for him.

And why is Kobe on their? Also, is it me, or does those percentages not add up to 100?

I imagine it not only is rounded to the nearest whole percent, but tons of other players got votes as well.

If it's dirty, it has to be Dirk.

I think Bob Sura, Jon Barry, and all of those Houston spares deserve an honorable mention for their obscene hand-gestures during last year's playoffs.

Bruce Bowen is as dirty as the floor in a Dutch public toilet...

Yes, very dirty, especially after being left on the floor night after night.
