Good deal for Utah. Do a nice player dump and get back a good back-up PG who can shoot threes, handle the ball, and bring some veteran experience to the relatively young team.

This was a salary dump for GS. Ellis is better than fisher but fisher is still a solid player.

What on earth possessed the Warriors to do that?

Was I the only one that wanted fisher in a mavs uniform next season?

Nope, he would have been an excellent replacement for DA.

It's a salary dump for them. Fisher still has 4yrs/$26 million owed to him. They already have enough money in Baron Davis who will take most the minutes when healthy. And they have Monta Ellis who proved his worth and will continue to do so in the coming years.

Keith McLeod will be a solid 3rd pg to have around. It's my understanding that they'll waive Devin Brown. This last year isn't fully guaranteed and they'll only owe him $500,000. I doubt Owens is in the plans and was only added to make it all work.

Keep dreaming.

fisher is 31 years old..he is not a 3rd or 4th string point guard.

Interesting that he was able to play 1st string with decent efficiency. He could definitely be a darn fine 2nd point.

Devin Brown going to be waived? Think there is a chance of him hooking up here. He can score a little and is a pretty good defender.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Spurs picked up Devin Brown again. He's a young guy and he knows their offense.
