Walker is outright KILLING my fantasy team.
I bet, he is just so damned inconsistant. He can go out one night and light it up for 30/10/10, and then the next well look at tonight.

This isn't a line, but is it good or bad that the Warriors beat the Blazers tonight?
If we do land the 2nd seed, wouldn't it be our luck that the Blazers drop down to 7??

walker is extremely overrated
04-03-2002, 02:28 AM
I think Pierce is overrated too.

Walker, maybe, but not Pierce.
Pierce is a great player. I think he gets lumped in with Walker as someone who takes a ton of bad shots. Granted he is only shooting 44% from the field, not great, but he does shoot 40% from 3. Averages 26 Points, 7 Rebounds, 2 Steals and 1 Block per game.

Nowitzki is better than Pierce i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

You know, it's okay to like both Nowitzki and Pierce. Honestly. This Dirk vs Pierce draft nonsense is ridiculous.
I don't really like the Dirk vs. Pierce comparisons either. They are very different players. If I had to choose it would be Dirk for long term upside. Regardless Pierce is going to be an all star in this league for a very long time.

why is there a problem with saying who you like better out of dirk and pierce?
not a problem with doing that.
i like dirk..more upside and already better than pierce.
pierce plays too much out of control.
yes, you can like both..but yes, you can compare the two as well.
hell, you can compare anyone you want....
and the dirk vs pierce debate isn't nonsense. it's more or less asking "what if"
yes, they both turned out as solid players but it's nice to look back and say "the mavs definitely made the right choice"
nothing wrong with that
I guess the problem some have with it is it has become tiresome.
If you like Dirk more you say Pierce can't shoot.
If you prefer Pierce then people say Dirk can't play any D.
When in fact neither of them are entirely true.

What's pointless about the Dirk vs Pierce argument is that it's much easier to say which one you'd want now.
I mean, look at how many people laughed at Nelson for drafting Dirk when Pierce was available. I doubt anyone here was wanting Dirk over Pierce on draft day.
Now that we've seen what Dirk has done and what he could possibly do more of, of course, most of us are happy about having him instead of Pierce.

Now that is an intelligent post MFF! Quite refreshing considering the quality of posts over the last few days. Thank you.i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif
