Before the game, the Heat were awarded their championship* rings, but by the end of the day, only about 1200 fans remained to boo them for their suckass performance.

Beautiful.

The Swiss roll is amazing for sure. He has the balls, the skill and a nice frame.

Anyway I think its hilarious that NBA.com's powerrankings included this quote to defend their putting Miami in the first spot...

"Unsure why they're here? Click here or just tune to TNT at 8 p.m. ET tonight. That should clear up any confusion … for now, at least."

Miami was terrible, but I really enjoyed the way Chicago played. And agreed, Sefolosha looked good in his minutes.

If Miami goes 0-6, you can bet your ass the NBA will protect its baby and keep them at the #1 spot with some "give them another chance" crap to go along with it..

Chicago has been picked by everyone and their mother as a sleeper and thus they arent a sleeper...

Chicago looked solid. I'm really liking Thomas, Sefolosha, and Kryapa (sp).

Miami looked like crap and they're the front runners for Jalen Rose? Bad to worse, imo.

Thebo was the one I was hoping the Mavs would draft last year.

That's three out of the last seven games the Heat have played like death warmed up.

mqywaaah

The Mavs would never be seen losing like that and as much.

And if they ever did, Avery would KILL them their next couple practices.

It really bothers me that the Heat beat us in the playoffs when they go out there and put up efforts like this...

I slept well after seeing Miami's performance, what a poor showing. ESPN said it was the worst opening loss by a previous champion ever.

I'm really impressed with Chicago's Hinrich.

A game like this is pretty damning evidence that the Heat needed to rely something more than their skills to win that ring...

Ohhh how wonderful the sight. Nice going Miami, now it's your turn to sip from the same bitter cup of hell that we've been stuck with all summer. Here's to your unlimited failures and eventual meltown as the franchise with the tainted championship rings.

May they haunt you in your nightmares for the rest of your lives.

I'd like to see karma & fate treat Miami the same way the Pittsburgh Steelers have turned out after stealing their ring...

Who says they didnt rely on their skills? They just didnt rely on basketball skills. They clearly express some other skills which they use to ummm please David Stern...

are you hinting at skills that might require knee pads, 5-0?

well I don't know if that's fair....

By the way, anyone hear Dan "Wade-Cheerleader" Patrick already sand bagging for the Heat season, saying that they don't care how they do in the regular season, it's what they do in the playoffs that they care about?

bulls need to get rid of deng, who is just a volume shooter and replace him with sefolosha in the starting lineup...get pj brown out of there and start nocioni.

nashtymavsfan13
11-02-2006, 02:22 AM
Deng has good potential though, and I agree that Nocioni should definetly start.
