He must be joking.. how would he even be able to see the ball when he can't look straight ahead?

this seems likely if he retires at 40.

I don't think he's really built like the prototypical baseball player. Nah, can't see it...

I don't see it either.

Would playing baseball be less strenuous to his back than basketball?

I have never played either sport (I am partially disabled after five back surgeries) but I do know something about haviung back problems. Sometimes I grimmace just watching basketball players flying through the air coming down on their feet with such force--I can't imagine the amount of stress that puts on their back. That and all of the bending and twisting.

Yeah...and just imagine the stress when they come down on someone ELSE's feet. ;)

Didn't they (craig sager?) say he's been training with Roger Clemens? I don't see him turning to baseball but he seemed pretty serious about not missing the game of basketball when he retires.

He's just jealous cause he's not a twin like Tiki Barber....

lol, but he will be a hell of a base stealer with his speed and his ability to watch the basemen and the pitcher at the same time he'd be unstoppable

Sounds like the path of the Great One....cept T-Mac sucks. Maybe he'll find his niesche in baseball?

Retiring once yao hits his prime, pretty stupid if you ask me. T-mac might as well hang out and make it past the first round finally.
