Boozer has hairline fracture, may be out 4-6 weeks

AT LAKE CITY -- Utah Jazz forward Carlos Boozer has a hairline fracture of his left fibula, an injury that usually takes 4-to-6 weeks to heal, the team said Wednesday.

Boozer injured his knee on Saturday, in a collision with the New Orleans Hornets' Tyson Chandler. He sat out Monday's game against the New Jersey Nets with a bruised knee.

The injury leaves first-place Utah without its leading scorer and rebounder. Boozer is averaging 22.1 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game. He missed the first 49 games last season with a hamstring injury and the last 31 games two years ago with a strained right foot.

Will A.K. fill the void?
What does this do to Utah's season?

I don't know about Utah's season but it certainly helps Josh's chances to make the all-star team.

Is there one season where this dude didn't get a major injury?

He got hurt on Saturday and they announce this on Wednesday, a day after the Coaches turn in their All-Star picks.

Hmmm... wonder why that is?! ;)

BTW, the Suns catch another break, playing a top West team without their best player...again.

See, true Suns fans think this sucks, because all these accusations will never stop until they beat someone at full strength.

Jerry Sloan at work. But this should mean that the little Josh will pick up a ticket.

I said a while back it was probably only a matter of time until Boozer had his annual injury. I guess that just came to fruition.
