The Celtics are playing well. Win or lose, that makes our win look a bit better.

the Boston team needs to play fearless, but they are likely to falter in the end

losing can become a habit...

Pop is nervous....

But there is no way the Celts win this game. Anything is possible I guess, but it ain't gonna happen now.

Not sure it makes much difference. Just want the spurts to stay ahead of the jazz so they can beat the everloving hell out of phoenix.

How about that. Second night of a back-to-back and the celtics look to take 'em down.

Lower the bridges tonight in Bexar County.

Woohoo! As long as they don't fall in the seedings, a Spurs loss is okay by me.

Nice to see the Splurges lose. Just when I thought the Mavs could slide, our competition chokes.

When the Spurs lost to the Bucks by 11, their Hollinger rating went UP.

Don't be surprised if the same thing happens again.

Don't be surprised if the same thing happens again.Oh, come on. Are you serious? I guess that the game must have replaced, in the last quarter of the games played, a game in which they lost by more than a net-eight. (They were on the road at Milwaukee, right, with the three-point HCA?) But even still, that's hard to figure.

The celtics have kicked it into another gear

Al jefferson is playing like an all star power forward finally giving pierce some big man help.

Delonte West is starting to get some consistency as well..there's your big three.

They're this year's version of the Magic..catching fire after the break.

I am dead serious. They went from 110.278 to 110.295. Not much, but still a positive change.

yeah -- I thought the celts looked like a fairly solid team, and maybe I wasn't just completely imagining things. jefferson is a really nice player.

checked the spurs boxscore and I continue to see a very consistent theme....

1) Spurs finish the game with Parker-Ginobili-Finley-Bowen-Duncan

i think you can tell a lot about what a coach is thinking by who he has on the court in the end of close games--I think Pop just trusts this small ball line-up for more than anything involving Oberto or Francisco. Spurs small ball just does not fill me with dread and fear, and much less so if i'm a Pho Suns fan.

2) Spurs got outrebounded

This is no surprise when the leading rebounder among players not named Duncan is Michael Finley with 5 boards. For the record, Bowen, who is ostensibly the 4 in this line-up, had 1 rebound in 25 minutes of run.
