Pretty funny stuff.

That is the definition of low Basketball I.Q.

Edit: I guess its not a bad idea, in theory...but he still looked pretty stupid.

It was kinda heady, because he was going to get fouled immediately, and so the Raps would have enough time to get off a shot to tie or win. Just didn't throw it high enough!

They had a three point lead and the Raptors were out of timeouts. If you're really that bad of FT shooter, you're still better off clanking it off of your opponents rim.

Ah...I was thinking two-point lead. You're right. Silly. Just hold the damn ball.

The best part was Eddie Jordan. He threw his hands up when Ruffing intercepted the ball and it looked like he pointed (waved) at Sam Mitchell. Very Jeremy Shockeyesque moment.

A Wizards win would have tied them with the Raps record... bet that guy is hearing it from his team right now.

He was trying to throw it forward and it slipped out of his hand. Pretty obvious from the arm action.

It's what you call efficient i guess - 1 steal and 3 points in 4.7 seconds of playing time in regulation :-P. thats what - 4 Eff points or
2451 Eff points / 48minutes. thats got to be close to a record :-P.

He wasn't trying to throw it forward. He was trying to throw it high. Ruffin did say it slipped out of his hand, and so it didn't go as high as he would've liked.

There are certain situations where I don't think this is a bad idea, and I'm surprised players don't do it more often.

But with a three point lead and three seconds left.....can you imagine the hell he's going to be getting from his teammates. :D
