Since I was laughed at before= I will try this again. The Bucks win tonight vs the Raptors. Indiana losses. Bucks get in the playoffs and go to the NBA finals...SIMPLE....
Oh- and they lose to the Lakers in 5

Unconvincing and foolish, but touching :-)

The Bucks were BLASTED by the Pistons - 123 to 89!

The Bucks season ended tonight...embarassingly.

Could they have had a worse ending to the season?
That's a shame. Wonder if the owner is willing to make a major move in the off-season? Other than firing George Karl.

I read the other day somewhere (ESPN maybe) that Karl might not get the axe....odd huh?
04-17-2002, 10:38 PM
Bucks management would have to eat A LOT of money to fire Karl. And they can see a lot of injuries to explain what happened.
04-17-2002, 10:41 PM
Well, I don't think Karl should be fired, but that seems to be the feeling with the media.
I think the team needs a change though, but who do you trade first?

I personally don't think he gets the axe....just a gut feeling.
Hasn't Robinson been on the block before? I'd start with him, since Allen and Cassell probably aren't going anywhere anyway.
First the Bucks have to decide on a philosophy - grind-it-out or run-and-gun. Adding Mason to a run-and-gun team didn't work (although I thought it would work better than it did). Cassell is a upper echelon point guard - those are hard to replace. Robinson and Allen can be replaced a lot easier.
Mason will probably stay - who wants him?

I don't like Mason anyway and hated it when it was suggested that we try and pick him up for us. Yuck, no thanks.
It also depends on if they want to trade one of them and a scrub to even things up or whatever or completely rebuild.
I'd start with Allen since I think you could get a 2-for-1 deal.

Mason is deadweight on any roster. I can't imagine anyone wanting him. I agree with MFFL on the expendable players and who they keep. I see them moving Allen...he will bring more.

I think Robinson is out of there. For a long time they couldn't trade him because of his contract, now that contract he has is AVERAGE for NBA standards and he only has a year or two left on it. So I'm sure he's gone.

Karl should be required to wear a thong at least when coaching. I think his players stopped paying attention to him when they found out he was free-ballin' during games.

Ya- Big dog should go. Not sure what type of player they could get in return to fill his spot. Man- on paper the bucks have talent- for whatever good that did them. They SUCK. And Karl can kiss my (#*%&%^#()!!
