View Full Version : Lakers vs Kings

The Kings have a few players missing tonight, including Webber with the sprained thumb (thanks to Najera) and Jackson.
The TNT announcers just said that the Lakers WANT to win this game and that they'll play until the end. Blah, blah
Guess we wrong about the Lakers tanking the game.

because the TNT announcers say something doesn't mean it's true..
besides, i don't believe anyone said that they would tank the game.. just that there were reasons for them to finish lower instead of higher
Are the Lakers going to tell the reporters "We don't care if we win this game"?

The Lakers are exactly the kind of team that would tank a game.

<< besides, i don't believe anyone said that they would tank the game >>
Some of us were talking about it last night.
And yes the Lakers have the type of attitude where I wouldn't be surprised if they told the media they don't care about this game.

Kings are playing pretty well without some of their key players.
However, more importantly, Robert Horry is hurting. He looks like he's in a lot of pain and went to the doctor today. Some abdominal injury.

Lakers are only up 1 right now....

Frankly, Im impressed with how well the Kings are playing the Lakers.
Cause you can see the Lakers are trying to win out there.

not watching that game, but I bet the Lakers suck in the second...on purpose.

Well, even if they do lose on purpose and we lose, they hold the tie-breaker, so they can't screw us in that area.
<< not watching that game, but I bet the Lakers suck in the second...on purpose. >>
We're sucking too. We might win the sucking contest.

Robert Horry update.
He has a sprained stomach muscle and will have an MRI. Not sure when, but they say he's in a lot of pain.

It's funny...don't we technically hold the tie-breaker in the case of total sucking?
we get the 4th seed...i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

<< we get the 4th seed... >>
That's what most of us wanted, so why do I feel a bit down about tonight's game?
04-17-2002, 10:37 PM
because we all like winning ....I share the same feeling.
Bring on the T-Wolves!
