View Full Version : Lakers vs Blazers

I really think the Blazers will win this series. They have something to prove to the NBA. They WILL be fired up, moreso than the Lakers. Portland hate losing to the Lakers. Portland also got a massive double OT win at the Rosegarden against LA about a week ago. That's gotta help the Blazers...
Plus 3rd seeds always lose! i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif
I like your optimism (and hope you're right), but I still think the Lakers will take the series 3-2.

<< They WILL be fired up, moreso than the Lakers. >>
That's the problem. If they can play a 5 game series without more than 1 ejection of an important player, I'd be willing to pick the Blazers too. But they can't. They are too high-strung and will breakdown at the critical moment.

scooter, i think the blazers will win, too...that is, if this was settled on the streets or with fair refs.
the nba fixes the champion, and they sure as hell dont want portland winning...unless dick bavetta refs the entire series, i dont think the blazers can overcome the fakers.

I was thinking the same thing. If the Blazers can limit their Rejections Per Game to under 1, or Technicals Per Game to under 2, the series should at least go to five games.
BTW, anyone knows what's going on with Damon Stoudamaire's case?

Here are our Portland Blazers... perhaps our best chance in winning the west! http://www.multimania.com/basket4ever/images/Wallace.jpghttp://www.usatoday.com/sports/photos/basketball/22bonzi.jpghttp://www.canoe.ca/NBAPlayoffs01Images/apr22_lalpor3-ap.jpghttp://www.davidpaulmorris.com/web%20photos/port/lakers.jpg

Man would I LOVE for the lakers to lose in four games. I don't think it will happen because of the obligatory Blazer meltdown, but that would be SO sweet!
