View Full Version : Baseball fans fight back.....mlb labor problems

I hate the MLB players union. If MLB players feel the need to set a strike date later this summer, it would be an option they obviously feel they were provoked into by the owners. But regardless of who's right or wrong, any labor stoppage could turn into a death sentence for baseball.

If you agree, you might be interested in joining a group called <u>Baseball Fans Unite International</u>, which is attempting to become a force in the talks representing the fans. The group is currently conducting a fans' poll through June 30 that it hopes to present to the commissioner and union chief Don Fehr at the All-Star Game.

To take the poll, go to: http://baseballfansunite.org/discussion.html, then click on the &quot;Baseball fans Unite Discussion Group&quot; link. If you dont want to cut and paste, click-&gt;here (http://baseballfansunite.org/discussion.html) and you will be taken to the site. Vote now.

Thanks for the link - I will go there and let them know that baseball will not survive another work stoppage.

From what I have read, the MLB players association is aware of this site and is taking it seriously. Who knows? We might just make a difference if we overwhelm them with responses.
