Some dude signed up over at the MavTalk bbs using DJBackSlash as his username. What's up with that?! Well technically he's not copying me since I'm djbacklash (and NOT backslash) but still..

I saw that and I thought that it was you. I must have missread. I'm signed up over there as Michael Finley.
Yea I always spell my name in lower case and like I said, it's NOT back-s-lash i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif Is it that hard to read?!

Would the real DJ Backlash please stand up, please stand up.
I wonder if it's Lamoo i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif . He's always calling you backslash i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif .

maybe it was you I saw, did you reply to the Mark Cuban fined post?
Oh are you talking about ClutchCity or MavTalk? I'm talking about MavTalk. I did post the reply over at ClutchCity btw.

My bad...I got confused. It was at ClutchCity.

I went over there and looked at it. I think you embarrassed him. He didn't reply, did he?
No not yet. I doubt it's a coincidence that his name is so similar to mine. I mean, how many Mav fans are DJ's and how many go by backlash or backslash?

yeah...I don't know why people can't be original.
Yea his reply was pretty sorry. Oh well. As long as he doesn't go around posting smack and impersonating me.
This fool just doesn't quit does he?

Is his IP address same as anyone's here???

What's an IP address?
Only the forum moderators have access to the ip addresses, so I'd have to ask one of the mods there for the info. The guy's just being a smartass, but if he keeps it up, I'll definitely take some kind of action.
Flying Tiger, an ip address is basically a numerical address assigned to your computer while connected online. People with cable/dsl/lan connections have a static ip, meaning it never changes. So it's easy to track people down that way. Those who connect via dial-up (using a regular modem and phone line) have a dynamic ip, meaning it changes each time they connect to and disconnect from their Internet service provider. This is a little harder to track down, but it is possible.

I used to enjoy the postings of "Evi-1-mav2" on Sportstalk. My imposter was easy to spot though... He was a much soberer man than the poor original...
