Today on the Mike Fisher show, Del Harris said this deal was all but done.

The thing is, Denver doesn't have #17 yet -- Washington still does. Assuming the Posey trade is going to happen?

Which NY backcourt player will go to Denver to even out salary? Ward, Anderson, or Eisley?
Or.. I guess you could look at Spoon or Harrington, but I see a guard leaving.

I am trying to figure out if this trade makes sense or not.

It would have to involve 2-4 teams.

Every trade in the history of the NBA has involved 2 to 4 teams, Doc. i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Trade only makes sense if Layden has a death wish. He will wake up with <edit: an expensive racehorse>'s head at the foot of his bed if he makes this trade.

Layden will NOT be GM come Friday if he does this. Unless he pulls some other amazing trades and gets something of some substance in NY.

Subject: BREAKING NEWS: Knicks-Nugz
Message: Del Harris just called us at FOX Sports 1190 and DallasBasketball.com to whisper that NY is about to trade Camby and No. 7 to Denver in exchange for McDyess and No. 17.
He didn't have the most flattering things to say about McDyess. Or about Yao, who he has worked with, for that matter.
The whole conversation will be available in 5 oclock hour on FOX Sports 1190.
