This isn't a Pacers forum HoosierDaddy. If you're going to post off-topic threads, do so in the proper forum.

Reggie Miller is such a career badass. I can still remember watching the NBA playoffs with my dad that night he hit 5 3s in one quarter against the Knicks. His slide away 3 point jumper from the left wing, long arms dangling in the air is in my mind, as patented as Jordan's tongue waggling.

True, but his time is fading FAST!

That's because he's getting old. Happens to the best of us. Although from his play of recent, he looks like he still has some magic.

My biggest Reggie moment was one I never saw. It was against the Knicks (around 1994 or 1995) in the second round of the playoffs and 1st game of the series. The Pacers were down something like 7 points with about 24 seconds left and the Knicks player at the line. Since I hated the Knicks, and I didn't want to see them win, I turned off the TV. A couple minutes I turn the TV back on to see the final score. When I turn the TV on, I see them interviewing Reggie, and I thought "That's odd, didn't the Pacers just lose..." Turns out Reggie scored around 8 points in the last 10 seconds by stealing a couple of inbound passes and hitting a few three pointers to win the game for the Pacers. I couldn't believe that I had missed one of the most clutch performances ever. To this day, I never leave a game or turn off the TV til the clock reads triple 0's because of the "Reggie game."

I remember seeing Spike Lee and Reggie trash talkin to their hearts content. Kinda told me a lot about both of them.

It's nice to see Reggie getting some love around the NBA.

Hakeem and Kareem got all sorts of love after they retired, too.

Man this has gotten me all nostalgic about those playoff games from the early to mid 90's. Bulls, Knicks and Pacers. Although Bulls vs Pacers games were always fun to watch to see Jordan and Reggie battle it out the best were those Knicks Pacers games watching Reggie Miller and Spike Lee sitting courtside trashtalk eachother LOL. Remember that commercial back during the strike season?, since there was no NBA basketball going on instead of being able to taunt Reggie Miller from courtside, Spike Lee has to go to some Junior Highschool girls Basketball game where he proceeds to taunt a girl on one team by the name of Regina Miller? LOL ahh man.
