Could someone be so kind as to tell me how to italicize or bold something in my posts? It isn't working for me.

To bold, type {B] and {/B] around the word(s) you want to make bold (subsitute the { with a [).

To italicize, type {I] and {/I] around the word(s) you want to italicize (subsitute the { with a [).

Another way to do it is by:

You can use the buttons found on top of the text box (the area you enter your msg) or you can click on the 'symbols' link beneath the Reply button (once again, this is found beneath the text box).

dj - why won't my links ever work? I have to paste the url because I can't get the link to work for me.

Try using the "http" button on top of the text box. It's pretty straight forward. If that doesn't work for some reason, this is how you post a url:

{L=name of your link}http://www.url-of-link.com{/L}

* Substitute "[ ]" for the "{ }" symbols.

Just wondering, is it possible to post a link without having to name it?

I'll get back to work on the site and board in the next couple days, after I take care of a couple things.

Calvin and Hobbs was the best there was... ever! I wish there was some way that we could have new ones out there.

I have all the collected editions. Once every 6 months or so I read them all at once. Talk about a great day.
