Some say Kobe, at 22, is better than Jordan was at the same age. Some say that at 22 Kobe has a lot more NBA experience than Jordan had at the time. Thus, the difference in numbers.

IMO, until Kobe wins a couple more titles, he can't be compared to Jordan. Jordan dominated the league playing for a team with no dominant inside players, and always had double and triple teams coming at him. Kobe plays with Shaq, who is the most dominant player in the league. It's true that even when Shaq is out, he scores at will, but he misses a lot more shots too.

Anyway, I'd like to read what some of you think.

Check out the Kobe-Jordan (http://www.dallas-mavs.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=3&threadid=725) thread already going in the Around the NBA section of the board i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif There's a couple of guys who agree with you on Shaq playing a significant factor in Kobe's greatness.
