The Clippers are up 2 with about 6 minutes left.

I'm following along on the yahoo game stats and Peja and Brand are shooing lights out.

Peja is 13-16 for 31 points.

Brand is 12-13 for 31 points.

Divac, 10-14 for 24 points.

Yeah the Clippers won!!

Now how did we play so poorly against the kings?, and a team like the clippers can beat them!!!

Better yet, figure this logic out:

We beat the Clippers
The Kings beat us
The Clippers beat the Kings.

I think, maybe, since the Mavs had put the sign up at their practice facility and basically built their whole offseason around getting ready for the Kings, they were simply too tight for the King's game. It was like studying for a big test for about a year. It was too hard to relax and just play. There were no such worries for the Kings. They KNOW they can beat the Mavs.

Last year, the gap between the Mavs and Kings was not that large. Going in to the playoffs, I thought the Mavs were better. In the playoffs the Kings proved that they were SLIGHTLY better but the Mavs have made such a big deal out of it and blown it up in their minds, that it has now become a mental hurdle, where as, before that playoff series, the Kings were just another good team. The other teams, such as the Clippers, can just go out and play. It's just another game. The Mavs have to just relax and play to win.

Ergo, the Clips are better than the Mavs.

And dammit, but don't you know that's what the Clips are thinking.

while I would say the Clippers out played the Kings (just wanted it more)

there was a discrepency of 46 free throws for the clips to 7 for the kings.

thats gotta help a little.

46 - 7 ft attempts is strange. Doesn´t matter who´s playing.

It's obscene. I cannot imagine the refs in that game being even remotely unbiased.
