Let's try this again shall we i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

Which college has produced the most Mav players?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 10:17 AM
Good question.

I think the answer is North Carolina. 6 players.

Hales233
03-07-2001, 10:56 AM
Ball State??

03-07-2001, 11:07 AM
You got it Rob! I believe it's five players though, but feel free to correct me if you know for sure that I'm wrong!

djb
03-07-2001, 11:08 AM
Whoops that was me i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 12:56 PM
Tom Lagarde, Eric Montross, Sam Perkins, Al Wood, and Hubert Davis were the only NC alum that I could find... I must have missed one of them... I think we have had four or five guys from Notre Dame as well...

djb
03-07-2001, 01:00 PM
Looks like you know your stuff EvilMav2! Oh and there were three players from Notre Dame. Care to guess which ones?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:12 PM
5 from North Carolina is correct. I miss counted.

The 3 from Notre Dame are:

Austin Carr
Adrian Dantley
Tom Sluby

djb
03-07-2001, 02:17 PM
No way you're wrong!

heheh j/k

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:18 PM
Who is the Mavs all time leader in games played?

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 02:24 PM
If I am not mistaken, I think Rolando Blackman would lead the Mavs in games played...

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:25 PM
Nope. That's what I thought too but Ro is 3rd all time.

djb
03-07-2001, 02:30 PM
Brad Davis

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:31 PM
Yep, 883 games played.

djb
03-07-2001, 02:32 PM
Who is the Mavs' career leader in free-throw percentage?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:34 PM
oo! oo! I know it, I know it.

But I'll let the other guys have a few guesses.

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 02:36 PM
My man Jim Spanarkel is the Mavs alltime leader in free throw percentage at .857...

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:42 PM
yup

Who is the Mavs all time leader in Disqualifications?

djb
03-07-2001, 02:44 PM
yup yup

djb
03-07-2001, 02:45 PM
Kurt Nimphius with 26.

How many Mav players have started in an All-Star Game?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:53 PM
Gotta go with 3 (Ro Blackman, Mark Aguirre, Jason Kidd).

djb
03-07-2001, 02:53 PM
Nope guess again!

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 02:57 PM
i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif Chris Gatling and Mike Finley are the only other two Mavs that have played in the All-star game i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif

djb
03-07-2001, 03:05 PM
Here's a hint..it's less than three.

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:07 PM
i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif Kidd and Blackman

djb
03-07-2001, 03:09 PM
Here's another hint..it's less than two i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:09 PM
James Donaldson also played in the 1988 allstar game in Chicago...

madape
03-07-2001, 03:10 PM
Jason Kidd!

djb
03-07-2001, 03:10 PM
BINGO!

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:11 PM
Kidd was voted in as a starter in 1996...

madape
03-07-2001, 03:11 PM
I don't feel like I earned that one..

madape
03-07-2001, 03:13 PM
Who was the most undeserving Mav all-star? Its a tough call between Donaldson and Gatling. I'll have to go with Gatling for personal reasons.

djb
03-07-2001, 03:14 PM
I think they've all been pretty deserving. I don't like Gatling much either, but he played his ass off that year.

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:15 PM
lol madape. Your not supposed to answer your own questions i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:15 PM
I'll agree with you about Gatling on that one... What player has the most blocks in Maverick history?

djb
03-07-2001, 03:16 PM
How many Mav players have made the NBA All-Rookie Team?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:16 PM
Bradley

madape
03-07-2001, 03:16 PM
Sorry Rob, it wasn't really a trivia question. More like a request for opinions. I thought I'd throw mine in first. Gatling is too ugly to be an all-star.

djb
03-07-2001, 03:16 PM
Hmm would he happen to be a certain 7'6 mormon we all love to hate?

djb
03-07-2001, 03:17 PM
Dammit Rob!

Oh and yea Gatling's pretty fugly alright..especially with that stupid looking beard thing he's got goin on these days.

madape
03-07-2001, 03:17 PM
Tarpley? Bradley hasn't been here very long.

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:18 PM
My man Bradley is indeed the franchise leader for blocked shots...

djb
03-07-2001, 03:18 PM
Still waiting for the answer on my All-Rookie question..

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:19 PM
Gatling's head looks like a watermelon that someone dropped on the ground...

madape
03-07-2001, 03:20 PM
Rookies - 2, Mashburn and Kidd?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:20 PM
Answer to DJ's question is:

Kidd
Dirk
Mashburn
Samaki Walker
Popeye Jones

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:21 PM
All Rookie Team: Jay Vincent 81-81, Sam Perkins 84-85, Roy Tarpley 86-87, Monster Mash 93-94, and Jason Kidd 94-95... They were all first teamers...

djb
03-07-2001, 03:21 PM
You got two of 'em Rob.

madape
03-07-2001, 03:22 PM
Damn EM, do you have a media guide in front of you? My memory doesn't go back that far!

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:22 PM
Name the 6 players who have appered in the Three Point shootout in a Mavs Uniform? Hint: One later won it with another team.

djb
03-07-2001, 03:22 PM
You got it Evilmav2!

BTW, would you guys rather have 20 msgs appear in each page or more? You can change the settings yourself under the "customize" tab but I can have it default to a different number (like 30 or 40).

madape
03-07-2001, 03:24 PM
Hubert Davis
Steve Nash
Dirk
Dale Ellis
Detlef Shremph
Timmy Legler

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:24 PM
Dale Ellis, Detlev Shrempf, Derek harper, George McCloud, Hubert Davis, and Dirk... Boy, I like this Clark Kellog autographed media guide...

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:25 PM
DJ, thirty or forty messages would be a good default setting...

madape
03-07-2001, 03:25 PM
This isn't fair

djb
03-07-2001, 03:25 PM
Cheater i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif

Who's Clark Kellog?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:26 PM
LOL oops, I answered the wrong question i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif . The guys I put were the only Mavs to play in the Rookie game. My bad.

My question's still out there.

djb
03-07-2001, 03:26 PM
It's now set to 30. Let me know what you all think.

madape
03-07-2001, 03:26 PM
Your media guide doesn't include Nash.
The answer is: ale Ellis, Detlev Shrempf, Derek harper, George McCloud, Hubert Davis, Dirk and NASH. Boooyeah!

djb
03-07-2001, 03:27 PM
3-Point Shootout participants are Dale Ellis, Detlef Schrempf, Derek Harper, George McCloud, Hubert Davis, and the Diggler himself.

Crap totally forgot about Nash.

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:28 PM
Lets see

Detlef
Hubert Davis
McCloud
Dirk

are right. 2 more.

Ellis and Harper are wrong.

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:28 PM
Clark Kellog is the color announcer for Indiana Pacers games. He also played for Ohio State in the early eighties and is one of the leading scorers in Big 10 history... I BSed with him after the December Mavs/Pacers game at Canseco while I was painted in blue and green. A winter storm hit the mid-west that night and we had to run shirtless through a blizzard to watch the Mavs...

madape
03-07-2001, 03:29 PM
Gotta go boys. I'll make sure to get a media guide before I try this again.

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:29 PM
Ellis came in third in 1986 (in Dallas), while Harp tied for 5th in 1989...

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:30 PM
doh, forgot about Nash too. So there's 7

1) Detlef
2) Davis
3) Dirk
4) Nash
5) McCloud
6) ?
7) ?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:32 PM
Damn, alright scrap my question i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif .

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 03:33 PM
The Clark Kellog media guide never lies...

djb
03-07-2001, 03:35 PM
I suddenly have a craving for Frosted Flakes. They're Grrrreat!

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:38 PM
hehe

Who was the first collage draftee in franchise history?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:42 PM
I've got a mental picture of ya'll frantically flipping through your media guides i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif .

djb
03-07-2001, 03:43 PM
C'mon you can think of a better question then that Rob i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 03:44 PM
ummm...no, I can't. LOL!

giostar
03-07-2001, 03:55 PM
Im sure it was some big, slow, tall white guy that can't play a lick of center??? Am I close?

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 04:01 PM
Your close. In fact, he never played any position for us.

djb
03-07-2001, 04:02 PM
heheheh

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 04:08 PM
Hint: He's a member of the Mavs now.

djb
03-07-2001, 04:10 PM
I think Hales233 should answer this one - hehe.

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 04:22 PM
I know the answer to this one without having to consult the media guide... He did a great job turning Austin Croshere into a player with the Pacers, and he is currently helping to mold young Dirks' game into a very frightening thing... That man is Kiki Vandeweghe.

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 04:24 PM
Yep

djb
03-07-2001, 10:14 PM
With Evilmav2's media guide, I really can't think of any more questions i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif Anyone?

Hales233
03-07-2001, 10:21 PM
SHAWN BRADLEY!!!!i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Evilmav2
03-07-2001, 11:00 PM
I won't cheat with the media guide anymore...

LonestarROB
03-07-2001, 11:01 PM
Alright, I got some but there probably pretty weak i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif .

Who holds the Mavs record for consecutive games with a 3-point field goal? How many?

scooterj5
03-08-2001, 04:04 AM
Guessing.............

Dale Ellis 21???

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 08:41 AM
Nope.

djb
03-08-2001, 10:45 AM
George "I'm on Cloud 9" McCloud with 678.

What is the Mavs' largest loss? How many points did they lose by?

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 02:35 PM
McCloud is right but 678 is way wrong. He hit a 3 in 27 consecutive games.

On your's I'm going to guess 42. No clue the score i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif .

djb
03-08-2001, 02:37 PM
Oh I thought you meant the number of 3pt attempts..my bad!

djb
03-08-2001, 02:39 PM
42 isn't even close..

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 02:43 PM
80 i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

djb
03-08-2001, 02:44 PM
It's somewhere between those two numbers..

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 02:48 PM
Oh thanks, that narrows it down i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif . Give me 1 hint.

djb
03-08-2001, 02:53 PM
If you subtract your first answer from your second answer, and then divide the result by two, you'll be damn close.

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 03:03 PM
50?

djb
03-08-2001, 03:13 PM
Ok my math sucks. After you subtract the two numbers and divide by two, add that answer to your first answer and THEN you'll be close i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif Geez can I be any more confusing?

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 03:20 PM
lol, I knew that was wrong because that equals 19.

But I've done the research. Looked at the scores from every game in Mavs history. There worst loss was...

58 points
@Sacramento
12/29/92
81-139
White(15) was the high scorer for the mavs

Please tell me I'm right i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

djb
03-08-2001, 03:25 PM
heheh ya that's right i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 03:31 PM
WOOHOO i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif .

What's the Mavs biggest loss in a playoff game? Who and how many?

djb
03-08-2001, 03:39 PM
43pt Game 1 loss to the Lakers during the 1983-84 season. 91-134 Final

LonestarROB
03-08-2001, 08:28 PM
Damn you and your media guide i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif .

Evilmav2
03-08-2001, 08:32 PM
There's nothing wrong with media guides...

LonestarROB
03-09-2001, 09:11 AM
There only bad because I don't have one i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif .

LonestarROB
03-09-2001, 01:27 PM
Who holds the mavs record for minutes played in a game? How many minutes?

djb
03-09-2001, 01:28 PM
Minutes played in ONE game?

LonestarROB
03-09-2001, 01:32 PM
Yes

Evilmav2
03-09-2001, 02:12 PM
James Donaldson played 58 minutes in a triple OT game against the Portland Trailblazers in 1989... That barely eclipsed Fins' 57 minutes in that 98 double OT game against Indiana that I was drunk and fortunate enough to have seen...

djb
03-09-2001, 02:20 PM
Who can forget that double o/t game with Finley's buzzer-beating 3pt game-winner! i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

LonestarROB
03-09-2001, 02:48 PM
Your are correct Evilmav.

I remember that Finley buzzer beater too. That's the game where Bradley tipped in the Purposely missed free throw to tie the game right?

Next question:

During the '96-'97 season, the Mavs used an NBA record ____ players. How many did they use?

Bonus: Name the only player who did NOT play that year due to injury?

Evilmav2
03-09-2001, 03:24 PM
I actually know the number of players who played that year off of the top of my head... If I remember correctly it was 28 (I threw that unbelievable number around in more than a few conversations)... I will have to check the guide for the injured player though (maybe Ed O'Bannon?)...

Evilmav2
03-09-2001, 03:28 PM
Jason Sasser only played two games that year, but he is the closest I could find to a DNP on the guide stats... Oh wait a minute, it was that b*stard Kurt Thomas...

LonestarROB
03-09-2001, 04:09 PM
Very close. It was 27 players and Kurt Thomas is right.

djb
03-12-2001, 12:53 PM
How many players have suited up for the Mavs this season?

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 12:58 PM
If you mean guys who have been on the roster, I'm going to go with 20, but if you mean guys who've actually played I believe it's 18... (that takes out Dana Barros and Etan Thomas)

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:01 PM
Oh wait- guys who suited up would be 17 because Calvin Booth still hasn't played in a real game...

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:03 PM
Yeah, I gotta go with 17 too.

djb
03-12-2001, 01:05 PM
Whoops I guess I was a little vague i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif How many players have been signed by the Mavs during the 2000-2001 regular season? Meaning, guys who have been on IR the whole time count.

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:06 PM
During the regular season means... 19.

djb
03-12-2001, 01:10 PM
I think you got it right the first time with 20. Correct me if I'm wrong though:

Michael Finley
Dirk Nowitski
Steve Nash
Greg Buckner
Juwan Howard
Calvin Booth
Obinna Ekezie
Shawn Bradley
Christian Laettner
Loy Vaught
Howard Eisley
Courtney Alexander
Donnell Harvey
Etan Thomas
Eduardo Najera
Bill Curley
Mark Bryant
Vernon Maxwell
Hubert Davis
Gary Trent

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:10 PM
I say 19 aswell but could you mean 2. Maxwell and Bryant are the only 2 that signed during the 2000-2001 regular season.

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:11 PM
Oh damn, I forgot about Bill Curley...

djb
03-12-2001, 01:12 PM
Gawd I suck at wording my questions..

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:13 PM
LOL, you ain't the only one i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif .

djb
03-12-2001, 01:15 PM
Oh damn, I forgot about Bill Curley...

I'm sure that's something we'd all like to forget.

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:20 PM
What is former Mav Bill Curley's career high in scoring?

djb
03-12-2001, 01:26 PM
He scored?

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:30 PM
LOL...

djb
03-12-2001, 01:37 PM
15pts vs. Magic 1/08/95

Ok I admit I cheated and grabbed that from NBA.com i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif I really couldn't help it though. I just couldn't imagine Curley scoring..EVER!

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:37 PM
15. 1995 vs the Magic.

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:38 PM
i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif

djb
03-12-2001, 01:38 PM
Rob = TOO SLOOOOOW i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:38 PM
Here's a better one... how many Mavs that were on the regular season roster this season never broke into double-figure scoring while playing for the Mavs?

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:39 PM
Right on the money, by the way...

djb
03-12-2001, 01:40 PM
<djb steps aside and lets Rob take this one>

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 01:46 PM
Maxwell
Harvey
Curley
Bryant
Ekezie

Mavinator
03-12-2001, 01:51 PM
If you don't count Thomas or Booth, that's correct...

Evilmav2
03-12-2001, 02:51 PM
What two notable players from other teams are tied for the most points scored in Reunion and what were their totals?

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 03:30 PM
I'm going to guess Karl Malone is one of them. Think I remember hearing that somewhere i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif .

Don't know how many points or who the other guy is.

Evilmav2
03-12-2001, 04:22 PM
I'll give you a clue. They were two of the most prodigious scorers and playmakers of the eighties...

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 04:38 PM
Bird i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif

Evilmav2
03-12-2001, 04:42 PM
That's one... The other one made some all star teams, and was a great scorer...He did not win a championship though...

LonestarROB
03-12-2001, 09:39 PM
I give up. I don't know i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif .

dallmav
03-12-2001, 09:40 PM
Dickhead Karl Malone, he hasnt and never will win a championship

mavsfan-972
03-13-2001, 12:14 AM
How long has it been since mark cuban did something outragous?

<joke>

he is learning to be a respected nba owner

djb
03-13-2001, 12:50 AM
So what's the answer already? It is Malone? i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif

As for mavsfan-972's question, I believe the correct answer is 4 days, 18hrs, and 23mins (give or take a few secs).

Bluwizard
03-13-2001, 03:23 AM
I know Bernard King scored 50 in Reunion once and if that is the third highest I can't think of who would be first.

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 11:08 AM
Who is the Mavs career leader in Rebounds?

djb
03-13-2001, 11:13 AM
I'm pretty sure it's either Martin Muursep or James Donaldson.

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 11:15 AM
hehe...yep

djb
03-13-2001, 11:16 AM
So I was right about Martin? I knew it!

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 11:20 AM
Who holds the Mavs record for Blocked shots in an overtime period? 2, name both.

djb
03-13-2001, 01:16 PM
The Big OHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Oliver Miller and Sam Perkins

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 01:19 PM
yup

djb
03-13-2001, 01:21 PM
Who is the ugliest guy to ever suit up for the Mavs?

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 01:21 PM
Bill Curley

LonestarROB
03-13-2001, 03:15 PM
So am I right? i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif

djb
03-13-2001, 03:17 PM
You really couldn't go wrong with that answer!

Ok here's one I just learned today (from a certain link I posted earlier). What band does Cherokee Parks' sister play for?

Big Boy Laroux

You're in Nashville yet you've never heard of Nashville Pussy?! Shame on you!

Big Boy Laroux
03-13-2001, 05:23 PM
No, i've heard of them, but i've never heard any of their stuff. I knew that though, before that article, that his sister was in that band.

I may not know much about the band, but believe me, i know all about Nashville pussy...

Rob, this is a little late, but the answer to the question about the two highest scorers in Reunion was indeed Larry Bird and Bernard King. They both scored fifty there...

djb
03-13-2001, 05:38 PM
Oh I thought you were asking for the two guys with the most career pts at Reunion.

Big Boy Laroux
03-13-2001, 05:40 PM
that would definitely be a mavs player then, DJ.

How many points per game did Dirk score in '97-'98 for his Germany team?

The Crippler
03-20-2001, 12:48 PM
something like 18 a game (17.8 maybe)

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 12:50 PM
Nope, your about half way to being right i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif .

The Crippler
03-20-2001, 12:51 PM
really, damn, I thought it was less b/c they played shorter games...

The Crippler
03-20-2001, 12:54 PM
I think I'm right...here's a blurb from NBA.com (Dirk's bio)

"A member of the German Army from September 1, 1997 through June 30, 1998, he also played for DJK Wurzburg and averaged 17.5 points and 9.9 rebounds in 20 games, helping his team win its division and move up to the first division of the Bundesliga."

It looks like it was 17.5 to me...

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 12:55 PM
Actually your less then half way there. He's played an average of 35 minutes a game that year.

The Crippler
03-20-2001, 12:56 PM
you said points...not minutes. His ppg was 17.5, right?

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 12:58 PM
Yes, points, but what I'm reading it says he scored 565 points in 20 games. That averages out to 28.3 points per game. It could be wrong I guess. Oh well, next question...

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 01:11 PM
What was Finley's summer job in 1992?

djb
03-20-2001, 01:13 PM
He was a clerk at the Chicago Board of Trade during that summer.

The Crippler
03-20-2001, 01:14 PM
damn...how'd you come across that question?

and dj...how'd you know the answer? I thought I was a freak! i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 01:14 PM
yup

hmmm...booth and ekezie?

w/o the trade I guess it would only be L8 right?

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 04:41 PM

Who holds the Maverick record for the MOST STEALS in a game? How many?

Mavinator
03-20-2001, 05:10 PM
Wouldn't that be Finley's 10 against the Sixers this season? I know that's very near an NBA record, at least...

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 05:13 PM
hehe...yah, your right. I totally forgot about that game. My bad. The answer I was looking for was Fat Lever with 9 steals.

LonestarROB
03-20-2001, 06:33 PM

Don't worry, you guys aren't the only ones with out of date triva answers thanks to media guides. A couple of weeks ago KLIF asked a question about who was the second leading shot blocker in NCAA history. Since we were playing the Sixers, the obvious answer was Theo Ratliff. However, Theo has been passed over by about three of four guys since he graduated. I looked it up, called the station and guess what - they didn't give me my free ticket on southwest.

Big Boy Laroux
03-22-2001, 10:54 AM
i'd go with fin.

eisley played in the bgi east, rob, at BC.

fin played at wisconsin.

LonestarROB
03-22-2001, 10:59 AM
I know he went to BC. But I don't know what teams are in the Big-10, Pac-10, C-USA, MAC, Big-12, etc..etc.. i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif .

TheKid
03-22-2001, 11:26 AM
Yeah it's Finley. I was listening to Hubie Brown talk on the radio the other day and he was talking about Finley matching his personal career high in steals this year with ten steals in one game. Was talking about how he broke a 10 record for the Big Ten in one game when he had 10 steals. Wisconsin played Purdue, I guess it was a great game. Triple overtime, Glenn Robinson had 44 points for Purdue and Fin had 33. However Purdue won.

During the '96-'97 season the Mavs used an NBA record ___ players.

How many player's did they use?

Bonus:
Name the only player who did NOT play that year due to injury?
