On the block: LeBron James. Who gets him? Predictions are open now. Also, where would he actually stand a chance of development? If he ends up some place like LA, will he disappear into Paper Clip Talent Oblivion?

Actually what do they do if Cleveland gets Lebron? You will than have Ricky D. Darius M. and Lebron all playing the same position. If Cleveland got Lebron, you can bet your ass the Cavs will be shopping Ricky Davis.
I think Lebron would prosper the best @ Denver. They have a GM and a owner that is rebuilding and are willing to be patient with him and let him mature. They will probably get a Lamar Odom or a Corey Maggette through free agency as they have the money. A core of Arenas, Lebron, Lamar, Nene, and Camby would be fun to watch.
Edit: Added Arenas as the PG.
When is the last time that the worst team won the lottery. Its been a while. What if the clips won the lottery. And sterling suprises us all and resigns miller, brand and odom. Miller, Lebron , Odom and Brand not bad. With patience they could be great.

does anybody think Carmelo Anthony is just as good if not better than LeBron?
They played against eachother in HS and Carmelo outscored him, got more rebounds, and his team won.

The knock on Carmelo is that he can get selfish at times and doesent involve his teamates in the game.
While Lebron as he has demonstrated over the course of his prep career and in the McDonald's is that he get all of his teammates invovled

I am biased b/c Anthony crushed my Horns this weekend, but the argument I have heard for this is that Anthony will not have the built-in selling power. I've also heard the selfish thing. He is very good, but if Syracuse loses, he's sticking around another year most likely.
On the other hand he loves lebron james. When is the last clipper that was worth a max contract. Its a fact Brand, Odom and even Candiman have talked of returning. Brand is worth the max the man is a double-double waiting to happen How many great clippers have been worth the max or close to it. The second thing is that all of those guys are restricted free agents. Brand is back definitely, and Odom is one other sterling great. Brand is how old 22 and how many clippers are 21 years and under. So maybe the maturation has just taken a little longer.
As for Anthony he is just like the rest that declare for the NBA. After all if you are still in college as a senior you suck as a bball player. It Lebron James 6'8" 240 pounds if its on potential its him? One good week for Carmelo doesn't change that.

Geez JayC....Sterling will never and has never paid to keep anyone. It won't happen now. Just because they may talk about it, doesn't mean it will happen. It's lip service....that is a doomed franchise until Sterling sells it.
And as far as Anthony goes, if you feel like he has only had one good week, then you obviously haven't followed his career.

If lebron goes to LACLIPPERS. He will be like Odom.
