Twolves have comeout very strong and are defending pretty well.

Minny shot 68% and they're only up by 5.

Yeah. But they are still up 5. I still wouldn't bet on them but they look good so far.

No way Minny wins this series. I just hope they can steal a game or two.

I want lakers to play 7 games each of their series. Let them get tired. Btw Minny leads by 14 at half.

Kenny says that Lakers are playing at championship level right now although they are down. I can't understand how.

Watch the fourth quarter. It will likely be evident then.

Wow! Is that score right? The Wolves are ahead by 20 in the 3rd.

Its 22 now. If the lakers comeback from this then Minny needs to trade KG to Mavs. They can have Bradley and Popeye.

This almost looks like role reversals from the last game.

Lakers should ultimately win this series but still do not mind a minny win.

Horry, Fox and Fisher flopping more than the points they scored.

The more pounding Shaq's fat ass does on his big toe before we possibly have to see him in the playoffs the better.

Go Tpuppies. I hope they can take a couple games...I just don't see them winning in a 7 game series.

Free throws for TPUPS. Good.

Tpups are not backing. They are attacking.

LRB
04-22-2003, 10:28 PM
I don't think the Tpuppies will take this series from the Fakers, but how embarrassing would it be for the Fakers to lose the series to them. We can only hope.

LRB

Tpuppies up by 24 before Rush hits a 3 at the 3rd quarter buzzer to close to 21.

27-pt lead with less than 40 sec to go. glad the wolves didn't take their foot off the fakers' throat.

holy smoke!

wolves shot .555 for the game, .500 from beyond the arc, held lakers to .362, outrebounded them 52-35, and outscored them in each of the four quarters. great game by the wolves.

The Timberwolves really came out with fire and never let up.

It was an impressive showing, wish they could pull that off in LA.

I just don't see it happening though.

Garnett with 35 points and 20 boards. Minnesota will never trade him.

KG's a FA in 2004. Minnesota might not have any say where he ends up.

I can't believe that nobody mentioned Kobe's courage tonight. The man came back to the line after tearing his rotator cuff. To my amazement the tard trio did not make a big deal about it. Walton would have went out on the floor and massaged it, congrats to the 3 wise men who let it go for a change.

The only thing more impressive then Kobe's highlight reel dunks, would be a documentary on his faked injuries. In all seriousness though the guy is unbreakable, I doubt he has ever had a splinter in his whole life.

Minnesota might have to end up trading him if they do not get past first round this year. I heard they have not been able to sell out even in the playoffs and I am sure Mc Hale needs to take a decision this summer. I heard this on Big Show when Mark Stein was their guest. He feels Garnett will be a good fit in Dallas but Dallas has to trade a few players in return.

Seriously, is there a player in the NBA that is "injured" as often as Kobe? He is the anti-NHL player. Some NHL player gets his leg hacked off and dumped in a chipper-shredder and the list him as day to day with a thigh bruise. Kobe stubs his toe and they claim he is playing with a prosthetic lower torso.

Ummmmm Ok

The Drama Queen Kobe Bryant he comes in even after the trainer during games. That game was shocking, if LA gets tossed by Minnesota (won't happen) but wow. But think about this Anaheim beat NY , Ohio State beat Miami, NHL: Anaheim beat Detroit, Minnesota beat Colorado. KG was unbelievable.

It is a possibility Jay. Hell has been freezing over quite a bit lately. It's just awesome to think about LA getting eliminated.

Assuming another first-round exit, Minnesota will have to seriously look at trading Garnett if for no other reason than not to lose him for nothing which becomes a very real possibility. And Dallas should be willing to trade anybody but Dirk to get KG as Dirk+KG would be one of the most awesome duos in the history of the league. But I don't think Dallas has what it will take: draft picks (preferably *good* picks which Dallas won't have) and young talent. All the worthwhile players we can offer are older than KG with their potential pretty much maxed out.
