(This comes from the realgm.com site. Im sure you've heard about it but no posted it, so I did.)

According to the New York Daily News, the Sixers have put the brakes on a potential 4-team trade.

The deal called for Jazz center Greg Ostertag to be sent to the Knicksm, the Sixers' Matt Geiger to be sent to the Jazz and the Hornets' Derrick Coleman back to Philadelphia. The Sixers, however, did not want Coleman. It is unclear what player the Knicks would have traded to Charlotte.

Apparently Knicks GM Scott Layden has a fetish for former Kansas centers.

(Also, I wonder if the Sixers will match the Nets offer to keep MacCulloch. This comes from realgm.com too.)

According to the New York Times, the New Jersey Nets offered Todd MacCulloch a six-year deal worth $33.75 million yesterday. Since MacCulloch is a restricted free agent, the 76ers will have 15 days to match the offer. With the 76ers close to the Luxury Tax threshold, Philadelhia may choose to let MaCulloch leave.

More from the NYTimes:

TODD MACCULLOCH will be in New Jersey Wednesday to sign the Nets' six-year, $33.75 million contract offer. Philadelphia will have 15 days to match the offer, or MacCulloch, a 7- foot unrestricted free agent, will join the Nets. Philadelphia is not expected to match the offer.
