Thibodeau connection. Wolves fans are going to revolt when Thibs plays Rose over Tyus Jones.

Crowder and James were not enough to make up for IT's mistakes when the offensive initiator constantly blew by IT. Get the cancer out of there, and insert Hill's grittiness, it can change chemistry instantly. For the present, the Cavs are much improved, but can they get that chemistry by Boston in May. And with Love due back in of March, would it be enough time to roll all those guys together.......
That trade actually made me watch the game today. Cavs defense looks a lot better. Got rid of those old bodies that were embarrassing on the defensive side.

Was thinking the same thing about Love coming back. Any chemistry they get before then could require a re start.

It makes the East a little more interesting but the Warriors are hardly sweating.

Even the announcers got into a discussion on the air about how the Warriors are still going to win it. One of them just stated out loud that we all know GS will be the champs again. The other announcers said something like, "So we shouldn't bother watching?" He came back with, "It will still be fun to watch...and the Warriors will still win"

Very ironic indeed. Got to love how things turned out.

@TheSteinLine: With the All-Star break fast approaching, league sources say it’s increasingly possible Derrick Rose’s future won’t be resolved until after the break when teams resume practicing

@ShamsCharania: Sources: The Rockets plan to release guard Troy Williams to create roster space for Joe Johnson signing. Williams is expected to receive interest as free agent.

Jokic with a 30/15/17 triple double vs. the Bucks. Holy crap.

Yeah, I'm glad I picked him in daily fantasy last night. Lol!

He had a triple double by half time too

@mikecwright: Pop just said he'd be surprised if Kawhi returns this season.

More rumors of bad relationship between Kawahi and the Spurs. What the heck is going on? He's supposedly been cleared for a while now but hasn't wanted to come back.

The Spurs are on the brink of disaster. They basically lucked into Aldridge signing an extension as he wanted out this past summer. The problem with guys like Rick and Pop is that they alienate a lot of players. System coaches are basically a thing of the past, and it's tough to have to fit guys into it.

We're in the buddy-buddy team up stars age. Spurs don't have more than one superstar on their team, so I'm sure that plays a large part of it. Kawhi just can't do it himself with his injury issues.

If you're not familiar with SB Nation & Jon Bois, give this a viewing. You can thank me later. Lol

Steph with 44 points on 19 shots vs. the Clips (only 8 free throws). Not many players can do that, and two of them are on the warriors.

If they truly are on bad terms (which I dont believe) there may be an opportunity to pull a Morey and get our Harden. Would require giving up DSJ though.

They would ship him east...and the Celtics could easily offer a better package around Brown, Lakers pick etc

Irving
Hayward
Leonard
Tatum
Horford

Jimmy butler goes down with knee injury. Minor to no contact injury.

Classic Thibs team. How that guy still finds employment as an NBA head coach given his history of overexerting star players in beyond me. Butler was leading the league in MPG (while Shabazz, a capable backup, rotted on the bench).

Agreed. Not to mention he was running Butler into the ground in Chicago too. Thibs is a career killer. Last of the old school macho coaches. In basketball that is. A relic
