Default Popovich has tied the NBA record for most consecutive playoff appearances

The Spurs have made the playoffs 22 years in a row. Want to bet against him making the playoffs next year?

The teams who spent the fewest days with a losing record in the NBA since the 1997-98 season.

The Popovich-led Spurs were first with a mere 65 days with a losing record in the last 22 seasons. The Spurs are more than two-and-a-half years ahead of the Rockets who have had 1,007 days with a losing record followed by the Mavs (1,027), Blazers (1,044) and Utah Jazz (1,101).

For my money, Popovich is the greatest NBA coach of all time. Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach may have won more titles, but the what Pop has done with the Spurs, keeping them at the top of the NBA through multiple eras while the game has radically transformed, never failing to adapt... Pop is the GOAT.
