CP3 demands a trade. After he demanded a trade from his last team to go to Houston. I can’t stand that guy.

The delicate relationship between Houston Rockets stars James Harden and Chris Paul has been termed “unsalvageable” and the star players want a divorce, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
Paul went to Rockets management and demanded a trade, and Harden issued a “him or me” edict following the Rockets’ second-round loss to the Golden State Warriors, sources said.

What a fucking little bitch...the nut punch in college was really foreshadowing his entire career

wanted out in NO
wanted out in LA
now wanted out in Houston

Probably dreaming about the banana boat in LA, but too bad this contract is killing that idea

That god we never got that little shit on this team. He wouldn't have lasted a week with Rick.

Everything is blowing up in Moreys face...he wanted that championship so badly for his ego. He agreed that Paul forces his way to Houston if he gives him that fat extension.

And now Kaboom. Maybe he can trade him to Minny for Wiggins. Thats kind of the right trade value

Is anyone going to take on that contract? Only way I see it is if Houston takes back matching bad contracts.

Mike Conley to the Jazz for Korver, Crowder, Grayson Allen and 2 1sts. Good haul for Grizz considering Conleys contract.

it is going to be so hard in the Western Conf. next season.
because Lakers, Sac, Mavs have a legit chance to make one of the 8 spots...
So who drops out of the top 8 playoff spots???
Golden State Warriors
Denver Nuggets
Portland Trail Blazers
Houston Rockets
Utah Jazz
Oklahoma City Thunder
San Antonio Spurs
LA Clippers
--
Sacramento Kings
Los Angeles Lakers
Minnesota Timberwolves
Memphis Grizzlies
New Orleans Pelicans
Dallas Mavericks
Phoenix Suns

Good trade for the Jazz, nice two year window for them

West could be a blood bath if Mavs and Kings are able to sign good players

Utah loses some depth but Korver is on his last legs anyway. Is Favors opting in? Interested to see what depth pieces they can get, because as it stands they have Royce O'Neal and Exum off the bench and thats about it- unless I'm forgetting some.

Still quite a few shoes to drop too: does Chris Paul get traded to Phoenix or to the East or at all? Does Jru Holiday get moved? Can the Kings sign Vuc? Are Horford, Butler, Kyrie or Tobias Harris coming west?

Definitely a good trade for them. Conley is a huge upgrade over Rubio and adds spacing. They could really use another wing (I think they have 9m left?). Ariza or even Wes might make sense for them. Love Thaddeus Young but he'll get more than 9m.

It's wild, but there's definitely a world in which Golden State doesn't make the playoffs next season.

There is also a world in which Lebron and AD go fishing after the RS because they both missed games.

@JohnnyNBA: Shams: "Even some teams that they've called as just a dump, like 'We'll give you Chris Paul for free,' those teams are like 'we're good.'The value is not there"

And this is the reason Paul is denying the Harden rift. He knows he doesn't have a choice. https://twitter.com/JohnnyNBA/status...83185851731969

Default NBA 2019 Offseason Thread

I figured this would be a better place for offseason talk than last year's general season thread.

Tonight should be wild. Are the Hawks going to be aggressive? NOP have to be feeling good about a nice return for #4 overall, whether they take a solid addition to Zion or take someone's ludicrous offer for a PG reach.

Hard to imagine why we, as Mavs fans, celebrated a year ago when they signed that loser to a max extension.

Meanwhile in Houston....

Oh and they want to add Jimmy Butler to an already explosive relationship of cp3 and harden? Yeah... Houston... what could possibly go wrong?

This is why you can't believe anything you hear. Remember when KD and Kyrie to the Knicks was a done deal?

When I see something like this, "Irving - Nets close to deal......" shouldn't this be considered tampering and the team punished.....if Irving does sign with the Nets....

- Lonzo Ball
- Brandon Ingram
- Josh Hart
- No. 8 pick in 19
- No. 17 pick in 19
- No. 35 pick in 19
- L.A.' 21 pick if top 8
- L.A.' 22 pick if not
- L.A. swap in 23
- L.A.' 1st in either 24 or 25

And got rid of Solomon Hill's contract.

@wojespn: Rob Pelinka and David Griffin, upon completion of Anthony Davis deal, had agreed that if a third team was looped into trade, teams would finalize on July 6. No third team wanted to wait until late July. Once Atlanta was brought in today, Pelinka was already on board.

@ArashMarkazi: Mark Cuban smiled when I asked him about LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Lakers. “I just hope history repeats itself with the Lakers and their dream teams.”
