Long-ish tribute video. Seems like a good kid.

Seems like a decent kid. Just hard to get excited about a kid who probably won't even spend 10 days on the roster.

Unless they have 100% given up on him, why on Earth would they trade a 21-year old in his second year who they just spent a 4th overall pick on... to tank? Knicks really are stupid, but Knicks know as well as Mavs-- you tank by trading away old tires with tread on them. You don't trade away young prospects.

Also, why would they give away their best prospect to get a fire sale trade to work? They're on the losing end of the proposed Clips-Knicks trade. Why would they overpay to get fleeced?

To literally reset which is going to happen if they trade Melo. Why not try to be that 3rd team and see what they got to maybe give them contracts expiring? I'm obviously shooting high saying Kristap...

Oh, you always try to see what you can get for facilitating trades. It's a great way to get some cheap vets, cash, or second rounders. I'm really hoping we can get a second rounder or something by facilitating even if we have no buyers on Bogut.

I just highly doubt we're getting a guy they think may be their franchise player of the future for helping them dump their prior star for almost nothing.

lol....after his first season everyone in NY knew that Porz IS the new franchise player in NY. He isnt going anywhere. They are going to tank around him.

And i wouldnt trade him for Fultz or Smith or Ball. Porz is a future star.

What? The Knicks are trying to dump Melo to build around KP. He is their future. He isn't going anywhere.

Didn't he finish 2nd in RoY behind KAT last season?

As stupid as the Knicks have been over the past 20yrs I don't see them parting with the best player they've drafted since Ewing.

They are selling more KP jerseys than Carmellas...so much about the Knicks "dumping him" after blowing it up

It is worth noting that even Rose's jersey is selling more than Melo. Oh, how the mighty have fallen...
