Looks like a 20-35 team vs. a 21-32 team so far...

Barnes playing like garbage, Yogi drains a 3 on his first shot, Harris selling the hell out of a trip to the charity stripe.

Also, dafuq is wrong with Payton's head? I thought hats weren't allowed in the NBA...

If Mavs are going to shoot like this every time Ben Stiller comes to a game we need to get him here more often.

Might be the worst half for Barnes and yet we are up 16.

You know the Magic defense is bad when Deron blows by you for a layup.

I would take the Mavs 03-04 defense over this Magic team. Wow are they bad.

Dirk has been doing a great job boxing out lately and battling. Very noticeable difference.

If Brussino can put on some weight... man. I still don't trust his lateral speed but that shot and his passing are just too good.

Have we been blown-out by 12+ points this season?? Seems like we've blown out the opposition more than they've blown us out... We've mostly kept our losses close this season, but our wins can come big.

A Deandre Jordan or Hassan Whitewide would have drastically changed this season's outlook because rebounding has been the biggest problem.

And it's an interesting discussion to wonder if the goal of a superstar or the goal of just trying to fix what is broken would change the fortunes of future teams. Both would be nice and aren't mutually exclusive, but the Mavs have some talent. Injured talent that can't rebound, but talented otherwise.

Yeah, I'm thinking an offseason of Barnes/Whiteside/Curry has us over .500 -- too bad Pat Riley is the Devil.

Didn't Whiteside also say that Portland was his 2nd choice? Maybe with Barnes development and given his age we would have better luck with landing a player going forward.

@espn_macmahon: Rick Carlisle considered it an easy decision to plug Deron Williams back in the starting lineup despite sudden rookie sensation Yogi Ferrell's success. "Because D-Will is a better player," Carlisle said after Williams returned from an eight-game absence due to a toe injury. "Let's not forget how well he was playing before the injury. He was playing at close to All-Star caliber. ... Yogi's done a great job. The role he had tonight is a perfect role for him." Williams, who is on a minutes restriction, had 7 points, 4 assists and 3 steals before sitting out the first half of the Mavs' rout of the Magic. Ferrell had 10 points and 7 assists off the bench.

28 games left...what will it take to get the 8 seed?

Hoping 16-12 would do it at worst, putting the Mavs at 37 wins...It would be fun but bitter because we cant rebound. Im here for the Salah/Draymond squabbles.

(9th seed would be worst case scenario for this team at this point)

And can we get a countdown of when Bogut will be shipped? Hell Id do a swap for Jim Jefferies

Dallas might be the 8th seeds before All Star break.
