Surprised to see his name here. Curious why you think he will be disappointing this season.

Looks like Erica and I think alike. I see Brunson and Jackson taking big steps this year, and either could be voted Most Improved. Not sure Lee fits the most disappointing, as I have zero expectations for him. He will play garbage time, and when guys get in foul trouble. I know they are paying him a good amount, and that’s disappointing, but he was part of the price to pay for KP. I imagine he’s gone by the trade deadline.

I imagine that he'll still be here, which would be disappointing.

I'm guessing you have KP as most disappointing because of potential injury or re-injury?

If KP is disappointing, then Mavs are going to be pretty bad

Well it would be disappointing if he got hurt, otherwise I can't see him being a let down.

Not that. I just think we want him to lead in scoring or rebounding, but I don't think that he will. I think there are unrealistic expectations set forward for him this season. He'll be good, but I doubt he'll be our leading scorer or rebounder. Because of that he's the most disappointing. He's being paid as if he's our best player on the floor, but he won't be. It'll be Luka. At least that's how it goes in my mind.

I won't give most disappointing to a player who I have lowered expectations.

So if he is our second best player behind Luka thatís disappointing?

It's disappointing that he doesn't lead in 1 of those categories. Luka shouldn't have to lead in points, rebounds, and assists. However, right now I have him pegged that way. A 4th year NBA player receiving a max contract should lead in one of those areas. That's what is disappointing. I don't expect anything too crazy from any of the other players on the roster.

I expect Dwight Powell to keep on putting in the hard work but do not expect any huge numbers out of him. I don't expect a monster breakout season from Maxi Kleber. I expect more of what we got last year. It's not like I expect much from Courtney Lee, J.J. Barea (returning from injury), or even Tim Hardaway Jr (also returning from injury). I expect good things from our new point guard. Now, if he doesn't deliver then that'd be disappointing.

To be the most disappointing player you've got to have a pretty important role. I guess I could take it a different way and just act disappointed in how players like Hardaway Jr and Lee make so much money but don't help the team get any wins. However, I just don't expect anything from them. When Tim returns and is healthy I think he'll be a nice piece on the team, but that's pretty much it. He'll be our 3rd best scorer.

What we need from Tim is good decisions and hitting open shots. He is surrounded by capable playmakers so it wont surprise me that he improves in many areas.

I think Doncic and Porzingis are going to be crazy good this year, and my predictions will be wrong. I hope so at least. They look like they're putting in the work and will recruit someone to join the team. Heck, do they really need any help? They may win a championship by themselves. Yes, I think they're gonna be awesome!

Porzingas should probably be leading in scoring, and definitely in rebounding, for Mavs to be playing well. Scoring may be close, but Porzingas should be getting lots of easy baskets from Luka. Luka's assists should go up.

Now, will all that happen? Have to wait and see. But I think it needs to happen for the Mavs to really be playing well.

Wright not only is a triple-double threat every night, he’s also good at defending without fouling

Considering how he looks like Ivan Drago now... I'm a believer!
