Curry isn’t exactly the kind of player you just hand the ball to and say, “get us a bucket.” He’s better being set up imo. If he becomes the go to clutch option, teams shut that down pretty quick, I would think.

Not in ISO style

But I think you can use him in a two man game with KP similar to the Dirk/Jet closing plays

Curry is a underrated ball handler and passer IMO

In his 1st go round with Dallas he was an effective closer for us with lesser talent around him

I actually think he might fix some of the late game decision making for us out of a two man game plus he has playoff experience playing down the stretch with the blazers

I kind of agree, but then again, I was pretty surprised early on this season because it felt very much like he was a better shooter off of the dribble than he was on his catch-and-shoots.

I've been forced to miss a ton of games over the past month, due to work, and I see that his percentage is really good, so maybe he is hitting more of them lately.

Yes, I agree. Underrated, and there's potential there. MUCH more potential than I see with Wright, for example.

That could be interesting. He has looked a lot better off the dribble lately than I remember from his past seasons. I’ve noticed that he has that nice step back midrange shot that looks pretty reliable. Could be a nice offensive substitution for dfs after a timeout or opponent fts.

He’s been on fire. You expect him to make every open shot, now. Mavs like the offspring of ex-nba players. Seth, Tim, Jalen, and Delon (brother).

Mavs have some work to do in the closing moments. Dirk also had problems and he's the 4th most clutch player of all time.

Mavs are young and at the end of games refs swallow the whistles. Luka has to learn to either score regardless of contact (and not just look for it) or get it to someone who can.

It doesn't matter if D-M.com crowdsources a guy who can take the last shot better. We just have to mature and that will take time
They had plenty of open shots down the stretch, just didn’t make them. The foul on Luka’s drive gets called if he’s LeBron or Harden.
This is the real reason we may never win important games right now, and why I HATE the NBA as an organization. Hate here doesn't mean anything other than, "Man, what a sucky organization!". No threats implied or otherwise. The league is rigged. But it's still great entertainment. How it's rigged exactly, I don't know. WHY is simple: money.

In 2011, the Mavs became not only the best team, but the best story.

In 2006, Dallas was the better team. But it wasn't the best story, to the NBA.

Billions in money, but no demands for equality and fairness in games.
