Tim MacMahon ~ The Mavs announced that they have re-signed center Salah Mejri,
who was waived earlier this week to create the roster spot necessary to make the trade with the Kings.
So Salah back = more rebounds = mavs win

Early game, all fans from sLOVEnia watching at 9pm local time and Luka fully motivated for us. Easy double-digit win.

He won't play much

I'm mostly happy that he mentored Luka. Keep Luka happy.

They were just mentioning how Dwight Powell is still around after all of the trades. I then looked at his stats, and I knew he came here in the trade from Boston. However, I totally forgot that he only played 5 games with them. He's pretty much played his whole career in Dallas.

I guess our whole team must watch 3yr old Parsons games. They all pump fake wide open shots and then they turn it over or shoot contested shit inside.

You read my mind. Nothing like passing on a wide open shot on a great Luka pass, and faking in order to give the defender time to recover. SMDH

Burke with his speed and scoring may supplant Brunson going down the stretch imo if he picks up the offense quicky enough.

I was just thinking thag Burke also complements Luka nicely. I think both he and Brunson do do it may just come down to who is having a better game.

Rick hasn't been great this year, but he does hold players accountable for defense. Looks like Burke is actually playing some.

I hope Rick keeps THJ on the bench more. I'd prefer the Mavs go a little smaller and give some of his minutes to Burke tbh.

Not looking too good right now. Just don’t seem to have a rhythm on offense or defense.

Put Burke out there with Luka. He's got speed and is a scorer. I think the offense will flow better because he's not as likely to take a quick shot early in the shot clock like THJ. Pair them with DFS, and Broekhoff. Leave Maxi at the 5 if you have to. Better than Powell. Give Salah a 2 or 3 minute burn to see if he can add anything.

yeah, too often guys don't shoot the wide open jumper immediately... other than THJ that is, but he can't hit the side of a barn so far today.

And Luka looks a bit tired. It's nerve racking having Luka do so much without help. Leads to unnecessary injuries.
