Sup, guys !

I just wanted to ask, if there are many Texans, that are running solarpanels on the roof or glastubes, that can produce hot water ?

^ I have read about that. Do you know persons, who get energy from the sun ? OK, there are other problems than hot water there, but it would be a great idea.

Texas under-utilizes solar energy. Generally speaking, the Northeast and Northwest use solar more than the Southern states. There are some strongholds for solar however, Austin, and slowly San Antonio, are using more and more solar.

Astonishing. The weather is more stable in middle-southern parts of Texas. There are living more people in the North, i think, except for Houston and San A********

Not that much solar panel work. Some governement buildings, schools, standalone stoplights, stopsigns and other things that can run on a small battery.

The big renewable energy in Texas is coming from Windmills.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_power_in_Texas

"Wind power in Texas consists of many wind farms with a total installed nameplate capacity of 17,713 MW[1] from over 40 different projects. Texas produces the most wind power of any U.S. state.[2] Wind power accounted for 12.14% of the electricity generated in Texas in the 12 months ending July 2016.[1]"
