It is relevant because we would have been all in on a Luka/KP/Kemba core for at least 4 years which isn't bad but not necessarily a championship caliber core considering Luka and KP are a few years away from reaching their peaks. We would have been virtually playing at our ceiling as a 6-8 seed over those 4 years.

When factoring in the contracts, Wright's give us more flexibility and Wright at 27 still has some upside playing next to a player that should make him a hell of a lot better. I personally didn't see Luka making Kemba any better and Kemba at 29 probably isn't going to change his game for anyone.
