We better lose to Washington. May be our only chance to move up in draft odds

I'm prepping for a tough last two months of the season. Team is a mess and it's not even as much fun to watch Luka. I think he is not having as much fun as earlier in the season as well.

We said that Luka is too good to tank, but the current reality is that we might be too bad to not tank.

Mavs desperately need some athleticism at the guard spots. They def miss that with Smith gone. Luka and Brunson are great and talented, but their lack of speed and athleticism is often painful to watch. Hope they can somehow address that this summer.

Things wouldn't look quite so bad if somebody would actually make an open shot. SMH Complete shooting dumpster fire, and I was cringing every time Dirk missed. :-(

Mavs don't miss Lil' Bullet at all. A lot of Mavs fans watched his raw athleticism combined with his zero basketball IQ and realized the frustration and futility of trying to develop a winning team with that combo. Mavs need players who can ball, not punks putting together their own personal highlight reel.

It's kind of funny now to watch Fizdale realizing that he got a dumb player to deal with. All this talk about Bullet's poor eating habits and not getting enough sleep leading to fatigue and bad late-game decisions? No, Fiz, you've got a dumb jock on your hands trying to fake his way through the league.

His offensive coaching just plain sucks and has for some time. Still a good defensive coach, but we need an assistant who gets to run the offensive plays.
Is he a good defensive coach? The strategy of switch everything isn't and hasn't been working. Our guards and wings can't stay with their man thru screens and don't fight hard enough when defending. The bigs are always having to help and it leads to lobs and post scores. It's all a mess and I wouldn't hang my hat on the defense whatsoever and I'm sure RC doesn't.

It's a bit of chicken or the egg with this group of guys and coach. Is he bad or are they? His offense and defense worked a handful of years back but when you lose capable personnel it makes the whole thing look shit. We have about 2 defenders on the team DFS, LEE and they aren't standout...more just decent and have their moments of really solid D.

Offensively, we have Doncic...Thats it. No other consistent scorer or playmaker. Nothing else consistent to speak of. I can't hang that on Rick either. What else is he to do when these guys just aren't good?

You mad, Bro? Don't be mad, Bro! You're the deadender Baghdad Bob who keeps dredging Bullet's name up, pretending that he was a first-tier prospect. He wasn't. He's shit on someone else's show now.

You don't mention him in GDTs, I won't mention him.

Your trolling is just sad and makes you look bad. Please, continue to look like a fool.

Seriously, Baghdad Bob? How is this guy not banned yet? You've already been given a warning about comparing me to Trump.

LOL I'm not going to alter my posting based on you. What a joke. Sorry that you can't seem to handle legitimate conversation.

I felt defensive assignments were generally executed before the trade and just post trade. And he has done well defensively with DFS, Kleber, and gasp, the ex DSJ.

But I mostly agree with you. Still, we're losing badly because of the offense. No amount of defensive pressure can make up for scoring 70-80 points in a game. And I still feel a different offensive system could help things out even despite the poor talent. Wishful thinking. I'm not advocating Rick get fired as that will never happen anyway, but he has to consider a major overhaul on offense. A flow offense should look like it's flowing.

It's not trolling for me to point out how wrong you were and continue to be about Bullet.

Seriously, Gurrl....you need to get over him. He left town already. He just wasn't that into you. He left you in the middle of the night, in the wet part of the sheets, without giving you his phone number. (Okay, this was a tiny bit trollish for illustration purposes only.)

Yeah, I don't get bitching about the coach when we're rolling out a G-League roster these days... We only really have 1 legit starter on this team right now (THJ would make an excellent 6th man), so no amount of coaching is gonna help us win games.
