The honeymoon with THJ was quick. At least he’s much cheaper.

Dwight Powell with a 5/3/6 line. SMH Brunson has 6 boards.

Shocked to see Luka not taking the pull-up for the win, probably because of the hobbling. It better not be a sneaky ligament injury like it was with LaVine...

Dude would be an excellent scoring punch in the second unit.

Luka would've had a triple double if Brunson had made the game winner. Oh well, very entertaining game.

I knew those turnovers would bite us in the ass. We had them and let them off the hook!

Ughh someone should have hit another shot to give Luka that triple double and this would feel better.

Hope Luka is okay.

It was, but that knee problem better not be serious.

Even though this could have been a win and the season series over Houston,
a loss is a little bit easier to stomach when it comes at the hands of Eric Gordon and Clint Capela instead of Harden and Paul. Still would have liked some out-of-timeout play better than a hobbled Luka bringing it up with little time, but that could have worked, too.

Tucker got away with a whole lot of contact trying to contain Luka. Not just directly, but also bullying through some screens. Oh well, let's get those higher ping pong ball odds.

It was hard to watch Chris fn Paul celebrate the win and taunt the crowd as if it were game 7 in the finals. I'm sure it annoyed the shit out of the Mavs and Rick as well and he knew he would get questioned about not calling a time out. He calmly turns that tough situation into boosting Lukas confidence and reassuring that he believes in his decision making. This is one of the main reasons I appreciate Rick:

I hope their asses get swept out in the first round of the playoffs. Can't stand Houston.

They will look to rely heavily on Harden. He wont get the calls, and his shots wont fall at the rate theyve fallen in the regular season. At best, they get to the Warriors again and lose. Thats maximizing everyone on the roster. I dont think that happens and a second round loss (depending on the opponent) happens.
