The Mavs playing a B2B is negated with Orlando also playing last night ... and traveling on top of it. Hopefully, we get a lot of minutes from a lineup of Harrison, Collinsworth, Motley, Salah, and the new guy Cuban better have signed to a 10 day contract right after last night's win.

Dirk Nowitzki (ankle) is not traveling with the team on their three-game road trip, so he will not play Wednesday vs. the Magic.
Nowitzki is dealing with pain in his left ankle, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the 39-year-old skip the entire trip. Harrison Barnes (rest), Dwight Powell (knee) and Dennis Smith Jr. (knee) will also sit out Wednesday's game, so guys like J.J. Barea and Yogi Ferrell figure to be very busy on offense tonight. Nowitzki can be cut in most leagues.
Dirk out the entire road trip and tonight no Dirk, DSJ, Barnes, Powell...i still dont get why they cant rest JJ...

I was going to be really negative. But they MAY get lucky like they did with Dirk. It happened once. He was essentially a #9 pick. Still, it seems to me, that if they win ONE more game, this is a very stupid franchise. At this point you're trying for best pick. Nothing else matters. But Dirk happened. Maybe another miracle is just around the corner. That's as positive as I can get. I've watched them since the first year. ONE championship. Players matter the most. Well, OK, after the crooked league office deciding who they're going to favor.

Imagine where our season/ future prospects/ fan base would be had the Knicks taken DSJ at 8. The thought makes me shudder.

This feels like the game where my soul gets crushed. Sitting all these players, giving me a glimmer of hope only for Barnes, yogi, and jj to combine for 75 and a win.

Barnes is out (rest). Maybe Rick should take the night off too and let one of the assistants run the show tonight.

Orlando trying to out tank us...

In their injury report issued this morning, the Magic say Jonathan Isaac, Jonathon Simmons, Evan Fournier and Terrence Ross will not play tonight against the Mavericks.

...a must win game for the honor of ending the season on a five game win streak... Disney-Otters are victim 2, thanks to a huge dose of JB/YF = Jammin' Ballin'/You're F**ked, so...

Mavs - 115
Disney-Otters - 98

Barea, Yogi, and McDermott were our best players in the game... They played the least amount of minutes, and we still barely pulled that loss off -- tanking is hard!

A part of my soul is dying rooting for shots to rim out. 5-6 pick still in play.

It's sad that the last few wins leave some fate in the hands of lotto balls. Games we won for no damn reason.. it will sting more soon as the season is over.

Motley gave us half the stats I predicted which is still really good. Gotta be a guy that gets minutes next season.

I think that's close to what he can do consistently. He needs to box out better tho. Everything else I'm happy with. Depending on the draft and offseasons moves, I'm not sure how much room there will be for him. The one thing he cant do is stretch the floor so he will have to be better at rebounding and defense to get consistent minutes at the 5
