Remember the year they won it? Dirk told Cuban to can it, he was quiet most of the season...
If the refs have an ax to grind with Cuban, which I think they do, all they need to recognize is that they are calling a Mavs game. It's really that simple because a handful of calls one way or the other can impact the outcome of the majority of NBA games imo. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I can imagine a couple of refs who absolutely detest Cuban swapping "foul stories" with each other over drinks. SMH Yeah, I'm still bitter over 2006. :-D

Never forget.

But yeah, I wish Cuban would really stop doing that while at the same time, league transparency needs to get better.

League transparency ISN'T going to get better unless people like Cuban keep holding the refs responsible... Inaction doesn't lead to change.

I'd usually agree with this, but Cuban has been doing this for YEARS to no avail. Even had the refs bitching to Silver because of him. I mean, I guess that could be some sort or progress??? Perhaps some things are changing behind the scenes? But as long as we keep getting shafted, then I'll keep wearing my skepticism hat.

I don't believe things would change much, if any, if Cuban stopped. These refs are lifers with a great gig from which it's almost impossible to get fired. Sadly, it may take a completely obvious rigged debacle like in the NFC Championship between NO and the Rams for the light to become bright enough to force some change. If that's the case, I'd bet money the Mavs are the team involved.
