Why won’t he disavow the Proud Boys and other white nationalists? Because he relies on their support in key states.

Gotcha. I was having trouble squaring far right nationalism with foreign influence in a general sense.

Most people have no idea who the Proud Boys even are, and they weren't around in 2016 (barely anyway). Not saying Trump is ignorant of them, but not sure he really needs them. Much like the left wing section of the Dem party, where else are they going to go?

Watch Trump have no Covid symptoms and all of his followers will be like, "SEE, told ya it was a hoax!"

I don't believe that he has Covid. Dude has lied about everything and his campaign is suffering. Seems like a stunt to me

I doubt such a stunt would work though considering Covid is the very reason he presidency has tanked.

All he had to do was act like a statesman for 5 minutes in a debate, and he'd be back in it. Really don't think he can.

His numbers are 2% higher than they were when Covid hit. I don't think his Covid response has any appreciable impact on his base's support of him.

Political polls means very little. Thought most people learned that from 2016 when Hillary had a 90% chance of winning the election. And his base will support him no matter what. The undecideds however are the ones who determine elections.

Trump would run away with the election had it not been for covid. And of course, he still might win sadly.

I mean I'm looking at both likely voters and overall approval, but you're right. There is a zero percent chance that he wins popular vote (if all polls were accurate he'd lose by between 5-10million votes), but the chance that Trump repeats is probably 50-50 because of the electoral votes.

That's why this election feels awful. There's a good chance that Trump will win the election after losing by 8 million votes and even if he loses, he may refuse to step down and will attempt a coup or at least a tantrum.

Democracy is definitely dying.

Welp, Michael Moore wholeheartedly agrees with you in his new emergency podcast. And I'm not saying that Trump isn't the biggest liar on the planet.

But I still don't think "catching" Covid is the way to do it. Trump needs desperately to avoid Covid talk at all costs even if the polls don't reflect it. It's still an insanely negative topic and tragedy under his watch that he still isn't doing anything about.

Perhaps all of these high profile Republicans are "getting" Covid to scare people into not showing up to vote?

In September, 44 percent of Republicans and 41 percent of Democrats said there would be at least “a little” justification for violence if the other party’s nominee wins the election. Those figures are both up from June, when 35 percent of Republicans and 37 percent of Democrats expressed the same sentiment.

Militia groups trying to kidnap a governor but are too stupid to do so? If that isn't Trump's America in a nutshell, then I don't know what is.

Literally a sign at the Michigan rally

We've known this since the 1400s

Maybe he means the Latin definition of virus “poison, sap of plants, slimy liquid, a potent juice.” I wonder what his thoughts are on aids and “the gays”

The cringiest part of the sign is the use of a hashtag. Now we can click on it and find all the other signs containing scientific facts.
