It's visually hilarious to see Barea and Boban running up the court together.

Such a great time to be a Mavericks fan. To have a 20 year old MVP candidate surrounded by a potential All Star and great role players is simply magnificent. Add on the coach, GM, and owner we have and it is simply phenomenal.

And to think this team just keeps getting better.
The ceiling is literally unlimited for this team.

Rick Carlisle has an interesting toolbox to utilize right now. I feel like this game gave us a glimpse of some ways he'll use guys in the playoffs.

Not sure what his contract looks like (I know he just signed one) but Reddick could help this team.

If this keeps up I don't want to see them make any moves just for the risk of changing chemistry.
Just need to get KP right on offense.

At this point the Knicks might feel insulted by that more so than any team that gets crushed like the Pels got crushed tonight.

Maybe for Lee and a late second, but I'm not interesting in giving up that GSW pick. Mavs have learned the hard way about giving up picks/not taking the draft seriously.

Well I was up almost all night last night working late, so I decided to take a nap for an hour or two and watch the game. I ended up sleeping right through it. I wake up, see that it's already 4pm, check to score just to see what happened. Oh, we just won by almost 50, that's all. Luckily I DVR'd it.
Man, this Mavs team is the greatest Christmas present ever.

You're gonna have to include bigger margins of victories. 30-39, 40-49, 50+. I just got home from work, but I saw the score. I am so ready to watch this game! Not feeling sorry for the Pelicans as Zion is gonna give them a much needed boost as long as he is healthy. I just hope he understands what he needs to do to have a long NBA career. I'm tired of seeing top talents not making it in the NBA because of injuries. Also it sucks that Yao Ming didn't have a longer career. I want to see all of the best players out there competing against one another, and if we can manage to keep them healthy enough then maybe we can add some more teams in cities like Seattle, Jacksonville, Austin, and St. Louis.

Two years at $13.6m approximately was the contract he signed this summer. NO would want more than salary dump though. Griffin knows what he’s doing.

Andre Iguodala could also help this team and would make this team really scary.

Off topic, but I read somewhere a couple of days ago that he interviewed for the Knicks after they fired Phil Jackson and almost took the job. Apparently though, the dealbreaker was that Dolan refused to let Griffin fire Steve Mills and bring in his own staff. And THAT is why the Knicks will always be a dumpster fire until Dolan either dies or sells the team.
That, IMO, is way worse than missing out on KD and Kyrie. Griffin is one of two or three executives around the league that would give the Knicks instant credibility and buy untold amounts of goodwill with their fans and the media.

I'm all for bringing in Iggy at a low price, but I don't know how much scarier we'd be. Finals MVP Iggy is way in the rearview mirror. I think he's a decent roleplayer at this point, but probably not much more than that.

Scary as in "why do they need an old high milage dude who doesnt really produce anymore" type of way.

when i think of someone like Iggy coming on, the best thing is that he's an established NBA vet who would get some benefit of the doubt playing against the top guys you'd see in the playoffs. I'm certain that someone like DFS playing solid D on some like Lebron is more likely to get called for a ticky tack nothing foul than someone like Iggy who's got long term cred as a defender and a former all star.
FWIW, i think that's our biggest need right now is guys who can legit guard the slew of tough wings that are in the west.
DFS is doing his best and makes it tough at least - puts up a good fight. Maxi is surprisingly good at this - i was amazed to see him assigned to Lebron and do a respectable job (with a little help).

I don't think Iggy would move the needle too much for us but I wouldn't mind picking him up if it doesn't cost us any decent assets.
I still think Crowder is the Griz we should consider to go after to address some of the things you mention.
